Chapter Six

"I don't think anyone's up yet," Ringo said as he opened the door. John was in the kitchen attemting to make biscutes.

"Hey, Ring," John called.

"Hey, Johnny!" Ringo came into the kitchen, Deanna followed.

"Hi... Deanna? Right?" John asked.

"Yeah. And you would be John, the spy?"

John was emabrrased, "Um... Yeah," He was soon inturrupted,

"Ringo." Paul walked in, "where'd you get the dog?"

"That's Rodger, Deanna's dog," Ringo announced.

"You brought a DOG in here, Ringo?" John asked.

"HE'S DEANNA'S!"

"RRIINNGGOO!!!" George yelled from the other room.

"What?" Ringo ran in.

"We are NOT keeping that dog and you know it!" George commanded.

"But-"

"No buts about it! He goes! This is why you were asking if we liked dogs, wasn't it?"

"This is Rodger-" Ringo was inturuped yet again,

"NO!"

"Let me finish, Rodger is DEANNA'S dog,"

"Oh..." George looked at the kitchen door, "She's here?"

"Yeah, why would Rodger be here if she wasn't?"

George though for a minute, "Well, I dunno,"

"If Rodger is bothering you, I can take him home," Deanna offered as she walked in from the kitchen.

"No, he's fine! Let him stay!!" John repled.

"Yeah, dogs are okay, as long as we don't have to keep 'em," Paul added.

"Rodger can say. But we aren't keeping him... are we?" responded George. Ringo shook his head.

"So, what would you like for breakfast?" Ringo asked Deanna.

"I'm making biscutes!" John announced.

"That sounds good!" Replied Deanna.

"Then biscutes it it! I'll make some scrambled eggs and bacon," Ringo decided.

After everyone had finished their breakfast, Ringo offered to take Deanna and Rodger home.

"Can Rodger say here?" Asked John, who had taken a liking to Deanna's golden retriever.

"Um..." George turned to John, "I bet Rodger's ready to go home."

"Rodger has to come with me," Deanna smiled at George, "I'd better be going now."

"Bye!" John, Paul and George choursed as Ringo, Deanna, and Rodger headed for the door.

"You sure you don't mind Rodger in the car?" Deanna asked.

"Positive. Why?"

"He sheds."

"That's okay," Ringo said, opening the door to the back seat so the dog could jump in.

Ringo drove Deanna home, "Well," Ringo said, opening the door for Deanna, "see ya round."

"Okay." She replied as Rodger jumped onto the front seat and then out of the car.

"I'd have got the door for ya, if you'd have just waited!" Ringo laughed.

"I'll be at the park at about five, maybe I'll see you there,"

"You bet!" Ringo replied.

"Well, bye, Ringo!"

"Bye, Deanna." Ringo got back in his car and drove home.

When he got home, George blocked the front door, "YOu dind't bring that dog back, did you?"

"No." Ringo smiled.

"Okay," George let his fellow band member into the house, "if you EVER bring that dog back into this house, I'll,... I'll..."

"Better think of something, George, 'cause you'll be seeing a lot more of Rodger!"

"Really?" George got a worried look.

"Yep, Deanna hates to leave him home alone, so he'll be coming with her." Ringo told George.

"Okay," George smiled, "but I'm dog-proofing the house!!!"
