MAN NEVER ACHIEVES A CLEAR KNOWLEDGE OF HIMSELF UNLESS HE HAS FIRST LOOKED UPON GOD'S FACE AND THEN DECENDS FROM CONTEMPLATING HIM TO SCRUTINIZE HIMSELF. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* The Psalmist reminds us that the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love. Because once we are God’s children, we can either please God or displease Him by the way we live. We must distinguish between our legal acceptance in Christ (our position) and our practice in daily living. Now that we know we are loved, we will seek to love God. There are three things that will endure Faith, Hope and Love and the greatest of these is Love. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
