CLASS OF 2000 YEARBOOK

Over the Years

These last four years that we've been through
So much has happened, we're long overdue
To go back and take a very good look

And flip through the pages of our old yearbooks

On that first big day: Freshman Registration
We found all our books, moving station to station
Feeling nervous, apprehensive, and so out of place
We met our new classmates, at last face to face

As underclassmen we were restricted as to
The places we went and the things we could do
But as we got older we found something new
We discovered ourselves and adopted fresh views

As upperclassmen we began driving to school
We received more privileges; we bent the rules
We did homework in groups and studied together
And slept through classes that dragged on forever

Our senior year began with college applications
Our favorite days in gym were bus evacuations
As a class we developed a unique Senior Style
Playing sports, joining clubs, and studying all the while

As mentors we helped the freshmen adjust
To a new lifestyle and gave them someone to trust
Now leaving them behind, we hope to stay in touch
Throughout a lifetime that will change so much

The time has come to go our own separate ways
As life stretches out before us like a maze
The future is out there, beyond our small scope
While the years to come shine brightly with hope

Tara Jiles will graduate from Palmdale Highin Palmdale,California. Her high school accomplishments include a G.P.A of 3.67, school mascot...fanny falcon, track and field...400m,Health careers and ROP Tara's future goals are to attend UCLA and become and OB/GYN or phsycologist Her hobbies are hanging out w/ friends and family,and shopping Her Quote to you is:"when attempting to reach your goals keep striving and when u finally get there...keep going...the universe is the limit!!!"

Lena will graduate from Marshall High School in Marshall, Texas. She was apart of the national honor society, national choral award,had 3 years of speech and the drama team,she was also in vocal for 3 years. Lena has won numerous solo awards,and has participated in FCCLA, art club,and has been in many trio performances. She would like to move to miami florida to pursue a career in massage therapyHer quote to you is:To love others you must first love yourself.

Perry Glen Williams Jr.will graduate from Phineas Banning High School in Carson California He has particapated in leadership, BSU, Sigma Beta Club #3 in spring of Spr.98, International Club, H.O.L.A. club, Key club, Interact, French Club, step team, band, choir, drama, and honorary news paper editor. He plans on going on to a 4 year University, premed major, and to become a surgeon. His quote to you is: Life is like a box of chocolates...SO EAT IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
