BS: I understand that President Zieba is backstage as Kevin Powers is being checked over. Let's take it to the back.

(As the scene cuts to the back the camera picks up 'Good God' Kevin Powers being wheeled out on a gurney towards an ambulance. Along with him is the rest of The Dark Carnival along with EWI Owner Erik Zieba. Zieba looks on with great concern as Powers is prepped to be loaded.)

EZ: I want him to have the best care you can give him, understand? Spare no expense!

(From out of nowhere Austin Canon comes up behind Apocalypse and smashes a trash can into the back of his head. After a few kicks to the ribs, Canon stalks over to the gurney where Powers lays. The EMTs try to block his way but Canon throws them into the side of the ambulance, sending them down. Zieba tries to block his way next but Canon punches him in the midsection, doubling him over. Finally Canon stands over Powers and is poised to strike when Apocalypse comes to Powers' aid and sends Canon sprawling with a clothesline from behind. Canon is back up immediately but runs from the scene as Apocalypse stalks toward him.)

EZ: Canon! You WILL answer to ME for this! Bank on it!

BS: What in the world is Austin Canon thinking?! Attacking the Dark Carnival after the ordeal they've just been through?!

GM: It's called striking while the iron is hot, Sanders.

BS: It's despicable is what it is, and now Canon has raised the ire of President Zieba.

GM: Somehow...I don't think he cares.

BS: Fans, our next match was to be the gauntlet match, but I have been told that due to Corleone not being able to get to the arena, that the match will not take place and Corleone will instead take on Vitruvian Veritas at Shockwave in Des Moines.

GM: Well, Corleone bought himself some more time by not being here tonight.

BS: Moving right along...ahem...it's time for the match to determine the number one contenders to Simply Stunning's tag team titles. It will be the Motor City Maniacs going up against Tribal Instinct.

GM: This should be a hell of match but I really believe that the Motor City Maniacs want it more than any other team in the game today. But Tribal Instinct are anxious to wrestle for those titles as well. The question is, who wants it more?

BS: I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Let's take it to the ring.

Number One Contenders Match

The Motor City Maniacs vs Tribal Instinct

Combined Weight 556 lbs. | Combined Weight 604 lbs.

Detroit, MI | Los Angeles, CA

"Detroit Rock City" - Kiss | "Tribe" - P.O.D.

Ripper Robertson and Brandon Williams start out. Williams takes Robertson down with a clothesline. Robertson gets to his feet and rakes Williams' eyes, then executes a gorilla press slam, and follows up with a gut buster. He covers. One...two...shoulder up.

BS: Robertson look good early on.

GM: Well I'm sure the Maniacs want those titles back in the worst way, and they have to go through Tribal Instinct to get the shot.

Brandon reaches for Trypp's hand, and makes to the tag. Trypp hops into the ring, and nails Robertson with a clothesline. He begins kicking at Robertson. After a few kicks he drops an elbow to Robertson's sternum.

BS: Tribal Instinct are showing some aggression now.

Williams picks Robertson up, and drops him with three consecutive belly-to-back suplexes. He goes for the pin. 1...2...it's broken up by Max Mayhem. Williams picks Robertson back up, and whips him into his corner. Robertson comes back with a clothesline. Williams gets back to his feet quickly but is taken back down by a spear from Robertson.

GM: The Maniacs ain't out of it yet, baby!

Robertson tags out to Max Mayhem.

BS: The Motor City Maniacs are deadly when they get their mojo going. Tribal Instinct could be in trouble.

GM: Mojo?

Mayhem goes for a swinging neckbreaker but Williams dodges the move and quickly makes the tag to Brandon. Brandon comes in with a flying clothesline on Mayhem, but Mayhem recovers quickly and he catches him off-guard with a spinning leg lariat. Mayhem tags in his partner. Robertson spears Williams from behind as Max executes a superkick. Robertson goes for the cover. One...two...Trypp makes the save.

BS: The Maniacs are holding their own, but the Tribe are watching out for each other.

GM: That will be the key to their survival. I still think the Maniacs want it more though.

Robertson argues with the referee, allowing Brandon the opportunity to make the tag. Trypp sneaks up behind Robertson and locks in a sleeper. Robertson fights the hold but Williams converts the hold into a bulldog. He wastes no time in pulling Robertson up and executing a Samoan Drop. Williams locks on an armbar submission and the referee checks on Robertson who refuses to submit. Eventually Robertson gets to his knees and uses a low blow to force Williams to break the hold. He picks Williams up for a chokeslam but then drops him across his knee for a backbreaker. As Williams writhes in pain, Robertson tags in Mayhem. Mayhem powerbombs Williams, and goes for the cover. The referee counts: One...two...th...Brandon makes the save.

BS: Oh my! We almost had a pin there!

Mayhem tags back out to Robertson. Robertson comes from behind and drops Williams with a spear. Roberston goes for the cover. The referee counts: One...two...Williams kicks out. Robertson lifts him up by the hair, and lifts him up for a chokeslam, but at the last second Williams kicks Robertson in the groin. Willimas dives into his corner and tags in his brother.

BS: Brandon Williams gets the tag!

Brandon charges at Robertson, but is met by Robertson's boot. Robertson tags in Max Mayhem. Mayhem lifts Styles up and hits a Tiger Driver 91. Mayhem covers him for the pin. The referee counts: One...two...thr...Williams gets the shoulder up.

BS: Williams is hanging on for dear life! Tribal Instinct want the tag titles just as much as the Maniacs do!

GM: I'm not sure about that. The Maniacs are practically obsessed with winning the belts back.

Mayhem pulls Williams up and Williams drives a boot to the midsection and DDTs Mayhem. Williams goes to a reverse chinlock and the referee checks in with Mayhem.

GM: This is smart of Williams to do. He gets to recover while inflicting punishment on Mayhem.

Mayhem fights back to his feet and breaks the chinlock with an elbow to the midsection. He runs to the ropes for momentum, but Williams catches him with a knee to the midsection and tags Brandon in. Brandon heads up to the rope and comes crashing down with a double axehandle, only to be caught by Mayhem's fist in his midsection. Mayhem drops him with a swinging neckbreaker and quickly makes the tag to Robertson. Robertson steps into the ring and wastes no time in maintaining the offense on Williams. He throws him into a neutral corner and kicks him in the midsection repeatedly before the official is able to force the break.

BS: The Maniacs are having absolutely no mercy!

GM: You expected them to? Ha!

Williams slumps in the corner, and Robertson runs back in and takes him out of the corner with a head-and-arm suplex. He makes the cover. One...two... Williams gets the shoulder up! Robertson motions for Mayhem to come in, and the two men whip the champion to the ropes. They go for a double-clothesline, but Williams ducks under it, and rolls into his corner. He tags Trypp back in. Trypp clotheslines both Maniacs down to the mat and quickly kicks Robertson out of the ring entirely. He picks Mayhem up and plants him with a sidewalk slam. He quickly runs to to the ropes and follows up with a legdrop.

BS: Trypp Williams is looking to keep his team in the match!

Williams climbs to the top rope and waits for Mayhem to get to his feet. Once Mayhem is up, he launches and connects with a flying shoulderblock. Trypp tags in Brandon and the brothers double powerbomb Mayhem. Brandon goes for the cover. One...two...thr...Robertson makes the save.

BS: That was extremely close! Tribal Instinct almost had the match won there.

Brandon executes pumphandle slam on Mayhem. He then signals for his Kiss the Canvas manuever. He goes to execute the move but Mayhem trips him out of the move, causing him to land on the back of his head. Williams lies stunned on the mat, while Mayhem slides over to his corner and tags out to Robertson. Robertson drops to the arena floor and lifts up the ring curtain He reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. He slides the table into the ring, and comes in after it. He sets it up in the corner of the ring, near the turnbuckle. Max Mayhem lifts Brandon up on the turnbuckle. He executes a DVD on Williams and both come crashing down onto the mat through the table.

BS: Oh my God! Max Mayhem may have just killed himself and Brandon Willams!!

GM: Welcome to the extreme, baby!

As Mayhem regains his sense, Trypp Williams rushes into the ring and goes for a clothesline but Ripper Robertson comes out of nowhere with a spear that sends him out of the ring. Mayhem signals to Robertson to lift Brandon up for the Motor City Death Drop, which he does, as Max Mayhem comes down on Stlyes with a frog splash. The referee counts: One...two...three.

BS: The Motor City Maniacs have won the match and will meet Simply Stunning for the Tag Team titles on Heatwave!

GM: Tribal Instinct had a great match, but the Maniacs' desire to hold the gold once again won the day.

Winner: The Motor City Maniacs

BS: The Motor City Maniacs win the day, but you have to believe that Tribal Instinct will another chance again soon.

GM: Maybe even sooner than we think!

BS: Well ladies and gents, it's now time for the main event. Evan Aho has reigned as champion since defeating Rob Sampson in a match to unify the Extreme and World titles and he hasn't looked back since.

GM: Hellfighter outweighs him by sixty-six pounds though, and although he no longer has Tania by his side, he's still determined to be the champion.

BS: On a night where we've seen the Television and Federation titles change hands, could Evan Aho be the next to lose his title? No amount of hype can give us the answer to that question, so let's go to the ring.

MAIN EVENT

For the EWI Extreme World Title

"Mr. Hardcore"Evan Aho vs. "Hellfighter" Michael Patrick Schultze

6'0", 234lbs | 7'0", 300lbs

Seattle, WASH | Kansas City, Missouri

"Blood, Milk and Sky" - White Zombie | "Make You Wanna ... " - Alexia

Schultze walks out to the ring first. The crowd delivers some cheers for him, and Hellfighter soaks them in. Evan Aho walks out next. The crowd delivers a huge face pop for the champion. Aho enters the ring and turns to look back at the capacity crowd. Aho hands the belt to the referee and both men stand in the center of the ring, waiting for the bell. Suddenly, the Lo Fidelity Allstars' "Battleflag" begins to play and EWI Commissioner Chad Dupree appears on the entrance stage. Both Hellfighter and Aho turn their attention to him.

CD: Gentlemen, I know how anxious you are to get it on, but after a night full of great matches, I felt the need to make this one a little more...special. I won't keep you in suspense. Tonight, the Extreme World title will be contended for...in a best of three falls match!

The crowd pops huge at the news.

CD: Best of luck to both of you. You're going to need it.

Dupree turns and makes his exit as the referee calls for the bell. Suddenly, Schultze comes up behind the champion and nails him with a big boot to the back of head. Aho falls out of the ring and the cheers instantly turns to boos.

BS: Schultze knows he's in for a long night so he's wasting no time in going after the champion!

GM: Smart move if you ask me.

Schultze leaves the ring and stalks over toward the champion. He delivers a right hand to Aho's face, and the champion staggers around the ring, but manages to roll back into it. Schultze climbs back in as well, but gets caught by an implant DDT from the waiting Aho. The champion covers but gets only two. Schultze gets to his feet and the two combatants tie up and the heavier challenger gains the advantage with a side headlock. Aho quickly slips out of it though and gains the upper hand after a go-behind and locking on a hammerlock. Schultze swings an elbow, but Aho ducks under it and uses the challenger's own momentum to take him down with a belly to belly suplex. Aho goes for the pin and the referee counts: one, two, raises his shoulder. Schultze gets to his feet and Aho unleashes a dropkick that only staggers his opponent. He attempts a second dropkick, but Schultze swats it away and Aho crashes to the mat. The challenger runs to the ropes and connects with a big elbowdrop on the rebound. The referee counts: one, two...Aho kicks out. Schultze nails him with a spear next, driving Aho into the corner with it. Aho staggers out of the corner and into the challenger's waiting arms. Schultze catches the still-stunned Aho with a running powerslam. The referee counts: one, two...Aho gets the shoulder up.

BS: Schultze is a little over-anxious, but that's to be expected. He's going for the biggest prize the EWI has to offer.

GM: He can't let his emotion get the better of him though. Aho will capitalize on that in a heartbeat.

Schultze seems perturbed by the count, but quickly drops it so that he may turn his attention back to the match. He hooks on a front facelock and then picks Aho up for what appears to be a vertical suplex. The champion shifts his weight however and Schultze falls back with Aho landing on top of him. The referee counts: one...Schultze throws the champion off. The challenger gets up, runs to the ropes, and tries for a spear, but Aho sidesteps the move, spins him around, and takes him up and over with a locomotive snap suplex! Aho heads up top quickly, and as Schultze gets to his feet he leaps off with a flying cross body press, but Schultze catches him in mid-air and presses him over his head. The champion quickly shifts his weight again and ends up behind the challenger. Schultze turns, but is caught with a kick to the midsection. Aho quickly follows up with a standing facebuster and goes for the cover! The referee counts: one, two, thr...Schultze gets the shoulder up.

BS: The Extreme World champion is holding his own against the huge challenger, and you have got to give him props for that!

GM: Yeah, yeah. Props.

Aho wastes no time in pulling Schultzeback up and executing a swinging neckbreaker. Wilde goes for the cover and the referee counts: one, two...foot on the ropes. Aho quickly becomes frustrated and signals to the crowd that it's time to put Schultze away. The crowd comes to their feet as the champion locks on the double underhook, but he is unable to lift the challenger up. Schultze backdrops his way out of the move. He grabs Aho up and whips him to the ropes and awes the crowd as he executes a hurricanrana.

BS: The three hundred-pound challenger just executed a hurricanrana! Wow!

GM: You don't see many big guys using that move! Damn.

Schultze lifts Aho up, locks him in the pumphandle position and successfully executes his T-Bar Drop manuever! Powers covers and the referee counts: one, two, three.

Winner (first fall): "Hellfighter" Micheal Patrick Schultze

BS: Evan Aho must now come back with two straight falls in order to retain the title, but if there's anyone who can do it, it's the champion.

GM: Schultze has a psychological advantage now though.

After a thirty-second rest period, the match resumes. Schultze fires off a right hand which Aho blocks and answers with one of his own. Aho runs to the ropes and nails Schultze with a clothesline on the rebound. Schultze is staggered and Aho executes an inside cradle. The referee counts: one, two...Schultze kicks out.

GM: I think Aho would like to make a quick pin, but that's just not gonna happen.

BS: I'm forced to agree, Garrett.

Aho next tries for an dragon suplex, but can't get the heavier Schultze up and over. Schultze breaks the full nelson and executes a belly-to-belly suplex and quickly locks on a reverse chinlock.

BS: Excellent strategy here from the challenger. This has already been a long and if he can recover some of the energy he's spent he'll be much better off.

GM: I just hope he slips in a choke!

BS: You would.

The referee checks in with Aho, who by now has gotten up to his knees. The champion rams an elbow into the challenger's stomach and quickly executes the Agony, his version of the inverted DDT. The crowd roars as the champion goes for the pin. Dupree counts: one, two, three.

Winner (second fall): "Mr. Hardcore" Evan Aho

BS: Oh my! Just like that, it's all evened up!

GM: What the...? Was Schultze asleep or something?!

BS: Oh stop. Aho just did what he had to do.

Both men rest in their respective corners until the referee calls for the bell and the third fall begins.

BS: Here we go. This one is for all the marbles.

The challenger rushes the champion, and knocks him down with a lariat. Schultze follows up with a gutwrench suplex and then quickly locks on a half-Boston crab. The referee checks in with Aho. Aho gets near the ropes, but Schultze stands up and drags him back to the middle of the ring.

BS: The challenger is working over the champion's leg and that has to be considered a good strategy.

GM: Of course. He gets more recovery time from the inverted DDT and still keeps the offense going on Aho.

Dupree again asks him if he wants to submit, but Savage says no and once again tries to reach the ropes. Schultze breaks the hold, turns around, and pounds the champion with a double axehandle. The visibly-tired champion manages to stand up, but the challenger catches him with a boot to the midsection and then DVDs him to the mat with force and goes for the pin. Dupree counts: one, two, thr...Aho gets the shoulder up.

BS: I can't believe the champion kicked out! He's got to be running on fumes!

Schultze begins arguing with the referee over the count, but the referee stands his ground and tells Schultze to focus on the match. Aho pulls himself up. Schultze tries for a right hand that gets blocked by the champion. Aho fires off a right hand to Schultze's jaw and follows up with a right hand to the challenger's midsection. He ducks behind the challenger, kicks his knee out from under him and then executes a picture-perfect backdrop driver, spiking Schultze's neck into the canvas.

BS: I can't believe Aho got him up for that this late in the match!

GM: Especially since he wasn't able to get him up earlier in the match!

Both men use the ropes to pull themselves up, and the crowd cheers them on wildly. Schultze stumbles over to the champion and catches him with a German suplex from behind. Without hesitation, the challenger pops up and climbs to the top turnbuckle. He points to the fallen World champion, eliciting a raucous pop from the crowd.

BS: If Schultze hits this, we WILL have a new champion!

GM: This is almost scary.

Schultze comes off the top rope and lands a frog splash. The crowd pops in disbelief. Schultze looks up to the heavens and then covers Aho.

BS: It's over! It has to be over!

The referee counts: one...two...just as his hand comes down a third time, Aho gets a shoulder up.

GM: I can't believe it! Aho got a shoulder up! What's he made of?!

BS: Obviously some stern stuff! Wow!

Schultze circles the ring as Aho gets up. The challenger goes over to the champion. Aho lashes out with a kick to the midsection. He bashes Schultze's head into the turnbuckle. The champion whips Schultze to the ropes and executes a Rydeen Bomb on the rebound. The referee counts: one...two...th...Schultze kicks out.

BS: The champion is trying to hold onto his title, but that frog splash had to take a lot out of him!

Aho grabs the challenger and drops him once again with his Agony inverted DDT. The crowd pops huge as Aho stands up and signals for the Ecstasy. He pulls Schultze up into the double underhook position. Schultze pulls an arm free though and from out of nowhere he picks Aho and executes the Crossface Hell Slam.

BS: That's Schultze's big move! Aho's out of it!

Schultze looks up once again and covers Aho. The referee counts: one.....two.........three.

BS: That's it! New champion! New champion!

GM: Schultze has captured the Extreme World title!

Winner (third fall): "Hellfighter" Michael Patrick Schultze (NEW Extreme World champion)

BS: Hellfighter is celebrating in the ring with his hard-won title and what a moment this has to be for him!

GM: The journey has just begun though.

BS: Fans, this night has finally come to an end, but the ramifications of it will probably be felt on Heatwave. Until that time, this is Brett Sander and Garrett McFarland...signing off. Good night!
