GM: Amplified's gonna have to do some real surviving in order to win this match.
BS: Tommy Payne was eliminated at 7:38. In comes Deezee.
Deezee enters the ring and catches Mayhem off-guard. He hits Mayhem with a double axe-handle and works him to the mat. Deezee heads to the top. He picks up a chair and cracks Ash across the back. Deezee sets himself up on the ring apron. Ash gets up and Deezee leaps off and nails a flying leg lariat. He throws Ash back in, then throws a steel chair in the ring.
GM: Deezee knows hardcore, no doubt about that.
Deezee slams Ash to the mat and waffles him in the back with the chair for good measure. Deezee heads to the top rope, but Ash gets back to his feet. He picks up the chair and throws it at Deezee. Deezee tries to keep his balance but falls off the top rope and spills to the cement, crashing into a row of steel chairs.

BS: Both men spill to the cement and exchange blows. Bass comes over to help out his partner, and here comes the rest of HoA.
GM: We have a bru-haha!
Amplified stomp a mudhole in Ash until The Motor City Maniacs come over. Cole Steele soon joins them. Amplified realizes they're out-numbered 4 to 2, so they run into the ring. Cole Steele attends to Ash and the Motor City Maniacs follow Amplified into the ring, each grabbing steel chairs.
GM: The Maniacs are out to prove something tonight.
The Maniacs concurrently nail Amplified with chairshots to the head. They stomp away on their fallen bodies. The referee tries to restore some order and separates the Maniacs from Amplified. The referee orders Cole Steele and the Motor City Maniacs back to their corner. As this goes on, Ash re-enters the ring to be met by both Dezee and Bass. They pick up the steel chairs and hit Ash square in the head with a double chairshot, denting both the chairs. The Maniacs and Cole Steele scream at the ref who is trying to keep them from interfering. Deezee rolls up Ash and holds the pin for several seconds beore the referee finally returns his attention. The referee makes the count - 1...2...3.
GM: Ash got waffled with that double chairshot. He is out of it. Deezee could've held that pin for 20 seconds.
BS: Ash is eliminated at 13:24. The referee is tending to a dazed Ash. Meanwhile, here comes "Showtime" Cole Steele.
Steele comes in, and he's mad. He grabs one of the steel chairs and prepares to attack Deezee. Deezee quickly scopps up the other chair to defend himself. They square off, both holding steel chairs in their hands. They swing them at each other and the chairs collide. They swing the chairs again and they crash into each other, creating a loud, piercing noise. They swing the chairs one last time. They hit each other with a loud bang, but a screw is knocked loose on Deezee's chair. It falls apart in his hands. Steele smiles sadistically and proceeds to pummel Deezee with chairshots as the crowd pops for each one. Deezee is brought to his knees and blood drips down from his head after repeated chairshots. He drops an elbow on Deezze. He gets Deezee to his feet and whips him in. Deezee comes off and Steele hits a dropkick. Deezee gets up and Steele hits a northern lights suplex. 1...2...Deezee kicks out.

Both men get up. They lock up. Deezee locks on an armbar. Steele is able to squirm his way out of it. Steele charges in with a clothesline, but Deezee ducks it and superkicks Steele in the back of the head.
GM: That's gotta hurt.
BS: Yeah, Cole Steele's gonna have some headache.
DE: No, I mean Deezee getting his leg up that high! Ouch...my groin hurts just thinking about it!
BS: Ugh...can we refrain from groin talk, Garret?
Deezee goes to the top rope. Steele gets up...and Deezee hits him with a flying senton back splash, knocking Steele through the ropes and to the floor. He follows it with a springboard plancha. Steele staggers to get to his feet. Deezee grabs him, but Steele cheap-shots him with a big fist to the face, then repeating the fists. Steele lifts Deezee up...gourdbuster on the guardrail. And then a big clothesline sends Deezee over the guardrail.
GM: And they're takin' this one to the people!
Deezee grabs a chair, but a fan is pulling it away from him. Steele capitalizes and goes low on Deezee. He throws Deezee back over the guardrail, and back into the ring. He follows in and hits Deezee with a textbook suplex. Steele whips him into the turnbuckle, but Deezee reverses it. Deezee charges in...cartwheel into an avalanche. He goes to the top rope. Steele stumbles forwards. Deezee leaps into the air and hits a flying thrust kick to the throat.
BS: Deezee just drove the tip of his foot into Cole Steele's throat, and he's gasping for air!
Deezee grabs one of the chairs in the ring. He sets it up in the ring. He climbs up on the unfolded chair and hits a moonsault on Steele. Cover...2...two only. Deezee looks frustrated. He tries to DDT Deezee on the seat of the chair, but Deezee counters and drives Steele into the seat of the open chair with a spinning spinebuster, completely destroying the chair. He makes the cover...1, 2, 3.
BS: And Deezee has elminated both Ash and Cole Steele, cutting HoA in half.
GM: Amplified now has a chance.
BS: After a long and brutal fight, "Showtime" Cole Steele is eliminated at 23:27.
Deezee tags in Bass and in comes Madman Max Mayhem. As Bass and Mayhem begin to circle each other, Deezee reaches under the bottom rope and swipes at Mayhem's foot, distracting him. Bass takes the opportunity to attack from behind, nailing Mayhem with a running double axehandle to the back of the head. He lays in a few kicks to the back of Mayhem's head and then pulls him up by his hair, then taking him up and down with a vertical suplex. Bass whips Mayhem into the ropes and nails him with a stiff kick to the stomach, doubling him over. He quickly climbs to the apron and comes back in, nailing Mayhem with a springboard face crusher. Bass hooks a leg and the referee drops to cover: one...two... shoulder up. Bass nails him with a kick to the gut and goes for a DDT, but Mayhem reverses it into a Northern Lights Suplex and a pin: one...two...kickout. Both men quickly scamper to their feet and start trading blows. Mayhem nails a thunderous knife-edge chop, which stops Bass for a moment. Mayhem quickly pushes Bass back into the ropes and whips him across, catching him with a Frankensteiner as he comes back. Bass quickly pops up and hits Mayhem with a clothesline. he gets Mayhem on his feet, lifts him up to his shoulders and hits a vicious Samoan neckbreaker.
GM: Samoan neckbreaker by Bass, and that'll snap your neck in an instant.
Bass pummels on him a bit, then nails Mayhem with a screwdriver. He attempts to whip Mayhem into Basss corner, but Mayhem reversesit and whips Bass into the opposite corner. Mayhem charges in and hits a running back elbow. He then tags in Ripper Robertson.
BS: And Ripper finally gets in. He's get all this pent-up that's just been building during this match, and Bass is gonna get it!
Ripper gets up Bass up and chokeslams him. Deezee comes in the ring and is met with a vicious clothesline from Ripper. he calls for two steel chairs as he stomps on the two. he gets the two chairs and opens them up, setting them side-byside. He picks up Deezee and chokeslams him on the open steel chair. he then picks up Bass and chokeslas him on the other open chair. The chairs are demolished by the impact and the fans are popping huge. Ripper hooks the leg of Bass and the ref counts: 1...2...3.
BS: And Ripper just comes in and takes over, eliminating Bass at the mark of 28:18.
Ripper tags in Max Mayhem as they double-team Deezee, the last remaining member of the St. Louis Calab-O. Ripper charges at Deezee from behind, spearing him in the back while Max Mayhem hits him with a superkick. Then they call for it. The Motor City Death Drop. Ripper Robertson picks Deezee up and spike powerbombs him down hard on the mat. Madman Max Mayhem then comes off the top rope with a high-elevating splash. The referee drops to the mat and makes the count: 1...2...3.
BS: And this match is over! Max Mayhem pins Deezee at 29:37 to end the survivor series match and get the win for HoA.
GM: The Motor City Maniacs were the surviving wrestlers. They're making waves here in the EWI. I know these guys. They're better than great. You ain't seen nothing yet.
BS: Well, a bloody, brutla match wrestler by both teams, and this one is now in the books. Well coming up next....wait I'm being told that......let's cut to the back.
[Brett Kross walks around the corner, carrying his dufflebag. He's still in his streetclothes.]
GM V/O: Hey Kross has finally showed up. This IS good news!
[As he walks around the corner, A chair swings out and smashes into his face, dropping him flat on his back holding his head. Gemini steps out of the shadows and starts beating on Kross with the chair.]
G: Hey Kross! (WHANG!) Good Luck (WHANG!) in the title match (WHANG!) tonight! (WHANG!)
[Gemini looks down on the bloody Kross and smiles. He leans down and puts his hands on his knees and speaks quietly to Kross.]
G: You know Kross, this is just payback. Now we're even.
[Gemini turns to walk away, pauses for a second, then turns and kicks Kross several times.]
G: Forgot the interest.
[Gemini turns back around to walk away as the camera goes back to see a beat down Kross.]
GM: What people will do to gain the advantage.
BS: Well it is for the most prized belt in wrestling today so what can you expect. Speaking of belts our next match is coming up and it pits current EWI Intercontinental Champion and true leader of the Nu Nation Revolution Hellfighter up against Inner Circle member Jeffery Roberts.
GM: With Roberts you can say he is the vocal person of the group if you go back to that match he had with Eli Flair.
BS: Folks we're just about ready for that match so let's go to the ring!
The challenger walks out to the ring first. His stride is one filled with purpose and he most certainly has his game face on. He gingerly climbs into the ring, being sure to avoid eye contact with the crowd. The champion walks out next with the EWI Intercontinental title belt in hand. He makes his way into the ring and hands his belt to the referee.
BS: This building is literally alive with the cheers and boos of the crowd! Hellfighter has been a tremendous champion, but neither man is showing fear here tonight.
GM: Look at the eyes of the challenger. He's a determined man.
The bell ring and Roberts wastes no time in laying into Hellfighter with a series of right hands, backing the challenger into a corner. Hellfighter grabs the champion by the throat and reverses the situation, pounding on Roberts's midsection rapidly. Hellfighter looks away for a moment and Roberts seizes the opportunity to punch him in the side of the head and then rake his forehead on the top rope.
GM: Roberts is gonna play dirty!
BS: We knew this could happen, Gary Mac!
Roberts tries an Irish whip, but it's reversed and he goes into the corner. Hellfighter catches him with a clothesline on the rebound and goes for the cover. One, two, Roberts kicks out. The champion gets back and sneers defiantly at his challenger. The two men lock up and Roberts gains the advantage with an arm wringer. He works the arms over, but suddenly Hellfighter reverses and he begins working over Roberts's arm.
BS: This is a sound strategy by both men in the early moments of the match. Keep it simple.
Hellfighter tries for a short-arm clothesline, but Roberts ducks under and rolls Hellfighter up. One, two, Hellfighter kicks out. Hellfighter gets back up, but Roberts uses a drop toehold to take him down and applies a Fujiwara armbar. He follows up by driving his knee into the arm and then applying a hammerlock. Hellfighter gets into a sitting position, but Roberts maintains the hold. Roberts converts to an armbar as the challengers gets to a standing position. Hellfighter forces his opponent to the ropes and whips him off. He tries for a backdrop, but is caught with a boot to the face. Roberts tries for a belly-to-belly suplex, but it's reversed by the challenger.
BS: Uh oh! That's not a good sign for Roberts!
Hellfighter drops an elbow. He goes to the ropes for a running start and attempts a second elbow but Roberts rolls out of the way. Roberts with a series of right hands and then tries for another Irish whip but it is reversed. The champion tries for a clotheslines but Hellfighter ducks it, catches Roberts in a waistlock and drops him with a Hotshot on the top rope.
BS: Roberts is gasping for air now!
Hellfighter hooks a leg and goes for the pin. One, two...Roberts kicks at out two and a half. The champion pulls the challenger up and props him up in corner. He executes a couple of right hands and then drops the champion with a short lariat. Hellfighter rains down on the challenger with a series of stomps. He picks Roberts up and whips him into the opposite turnbuckles. Roberts rests against them, but Hellfighter is right there to pound on him again.
GM: This methodical pace actually favors both men, but right now Hellfighter is in control.
Roberts rolls out of the ring and pulls Hellfighter down. He rams the back of the challenger's leg down onto the ring apron repeatedly. The champion then wraps Hellfighter's leg around the ring post and and rams it into the post a couple of times before climbing back in the ring.
BS: Roberts is doing the right thing here. If Hellfighter can't stand up, he can't use his power agains the champion.
Roberts stuns Hellfighter with a dropkick and then whips him to the ropes. He attempts a flying clothesline but Hellfighter dodges the move and connects with one of his own. Hellfighter pulls Roberts up and attempts a double underhook suplex but Roberts reverses with a backdrop and begins stomping away on the knee he worked on earlier.
BS: Roberts' strategy of working on the knee certainly neutralizes the size disadvantage.
GM: The man's as smart as they come.
Roberts slides out of the ring once again and drives the challenger's injured knee into the ring apron again. Hellfighter pulls away and uses the ropes to get back to his feet. Roberts climbs up on the apron and suddenly Hellfighter reaches out and grabs him by the throat. The crowd roars as the challenger somehow lifts Roberts up and over the ropes and drops him with a massive chokeslam.
BS: Chokeslam!
GM: But both of them are down!
Both men get back to their feet as the referee's count reaches 7 and Roberts wastes no time in clotheslining Hellfighter out of the ring. Hellfighter stands up, visibly shaken, and tries to walk off the effects of Roberts's offense. Roberts brings the crowd to their feet by leaping up onto the top rope and connecting with a springboard dropkick to the outside.
BS: Hellfighter just went sprawling!
GM: Well, no kidding! Anyone would after a move like that!
BS: Oh no! They're headed our way!
Roberts smashes Hellfighter's face into the announcer's table. Hellfighter tries to walk away, but the challenger grabs him by the hair and smashes him into the guard rail around ringside. Hellfighter goes into the crowd and Roberts follows him. The fans at ringside go wild as the two men trade punches. Roberts gains the advantage and tries for a double underhook piledriver, but Hellfighter reverses with a backdrop.
BS: Oh my! A backdrop on the floor won't do anyone any good!
GM: Neither would a double underhook piledriver!
Hellfighter pulls Roberts back up and throws him back over the guard rail. He rams the challenger's face into the ringpost and rolls him back into the ring. As the champion rolls in, Roberts gets to his feet and kicks Hellfighter in the midsection. He drops the champion with an awe-inspiring running Liger bomb.
GM: Roberts got Hellfighter up for a running Liger bomb! Unbelievable!
Roberts goes up top but Hellfighter is able to get back to his feet. Roberts jumps down but Hellfighter greets him with a boot the midsection and follows up with a Death Valley Driver.
BS: The champion will not quit! No matter how much punishment he takes, he keeps on fighting!
Hellfighter steps out onto the apron and begins climbing up on the top rope.
BS: Hellfighter is going up top! He's 290 pounds, Garrett!
GM: This is extremely dangerous!
Standing on the rope, Hellfighter looks down at Roberts, who is still lying on the mat. The crowd pops huge as Hellfighter leaps off and splashes Roberts. Both men lie on the mat for many moments, clutching their ribs.
BS: Oh my god! Hellfighter is willing to go to any lengths to retain the title, but it won't do him any good if he's not healthy enough to defend it!
GM: Hellfighter is leaving with his reign intact!
Hellfighter lies on top of the challenger. One, two, thr...Roberts kicks out! Hellfighter wastes no time in pulling Roberts up and whipping him into the turnbuckles again. He attempts to follow up, but Roberts miraculously gets the foot up in time. He whips Hellfighter to the ropes and goes for a clothesline which the challenger ducks. Both men connect on the rebound with a double clothesline and the referee begins to count. At seven, Hellfighter rolls on top of Roberts, but he kicks out at two. Both men get back to their feet and start slugging away. Roberts gains the advantage and whips Hellfighter into the turnbuckles, but it's reversed. Roberts catches himself however and Hellfighter, who was trying to follow up, inadvertently headbutts Roberts. Both men go down and Roberts tries for a pin. One, two...shoulder up! Roberts pulls his challenger up and whips him to the ropes. Hellfighter stops short, executes a go-behind, and devastates Roberts with release German suplex.
GM: It's over! It's gotta be over!
Hellfighter pulls Roberts up, picks him up with pumphandle slam into a Tombstone position.
BS: If Hellfighter hits this, he'll retain the title!
As Hellfighter tries to execute the T-Bar Drop, Roberts escapes and drops Hellfighter with a superkick to the back of the head.
GM Both men down again!
The crowd cheers wildly, rallying behind both men. Once again, Hellfighter is back up first. He grabs Roberts by the throat for another chokeslam, but champion nails him with a low kick to the groin. Hellfighter doubles over and Roberts wastes no time in using his last bit of strength to hit another running Liger bomb. Roberts wastes no time in getting up to the top rope and executes the Shooting Star Guillotine.
BS: Roberts nailed it! One...two...three!!!
GM: YES! YES! YES!
BS: Jeffrey Roberts has captured the Intercontinental championship!!!
Hellfighter rolls out of the ring, clutching his throat. The referee hands Roberts his title belt which he holds up high for all to see.
BS: Roberts has captured the EWI Intercontinental championship, but you have to believe that Hellfighter's strong showing will earn him a rematch soon.
GM: Hey you know that stuff they say to you when you need to cut to the back?
BS: Yeah. What about it?
GM: Well I'm getting it now.
(Steve Radder is pacing back and forth in his locker room, already in his wrestling tights. A noise from above the ceiling catches his attention, and he turns towards it. Suddenly, from behind him, and down from the ceiling panels, comes Co-Owner Randy Harders. He winds up with a baseball bat, and clocks Radder in the back of the head. Radder falls, unconcious to the mat, while Commishioner Dupress falls and lands in front of Radder. He and Harders share a handshake ... and leave the room.)
BS: RANDY HARDERS?
GM: Hey that's the other Co-Owner? Where has he been?
BS: That I don't, but the big question is now why did he attack Radder?
GM: Oh somebody call Unsolved Mysteries cause WE'VE GOT A CASE!
BS: Hopefully Radder will be well before the Main Event, but before that we've got a ton of matches to go through and the next one coming up is for the Number one Contender slot for the Television title.
GM: You've got the risk taker Tabu on one side who is totally insane. On the other you've got Brad Striker who will go blow for blow with just about anybody....that didn't come out right, but you know what I mean.
BS: Yes we do and this one is just about to start. Let's go to the ring for the introductions!
Striker makes his way to the ring with the usual fanfare. The lights go out and pyrotechnics explode through the arena in red, white and blue. But as Striker started down the ramp, Tabu comes from behind and drills him with a clothesline to the back of the head.
Sanders: Tabu is out early and taking it to Striker!
McFarland: Apparently Tabu not impressed by the fireworks show.
Tabu drags Striker to the ring, but Striker shoves Tabu into the ringpost. Striker goes to punch Tabu, but Tabu ducks and Striker hits the post with his right hand. Tabu rolls Striker into the ring and climbs to the top rope. As Striker comes to his feet, Tabu leaps off and hits a spinning wheel kick and goes for a quick cover but gets only a one count. Tabu quickly pulls Striker to his feet and snaps him down with a suplex. Tabu bounces off the rope and drops a quick leg across the throat.
McFarland: Tabu is all over Striker here. Brad hasn't even gotten a chance to breathe! We may see this match end a little sooner than later.
Tabu goes back to the rope and springs off the middle rope with a moonsault, but Striker rolls away in time. Striker rolls to the outside to catch a breather as Tabu pulls himself together inside the ring. Striker finally pulls himself back up into the ring and both men circle each other.
Sanders: Tabu is pulling out all the stops here, but maybe if Striker can weather the storm here he can get back into this and use some of the psychology he's famous for.
McFarland: Yeah yeah, whatever. Tabu is the aggressor here and in my experience the aggressive man always has the advantage. Striker needs to show some killer instinct is what he needs to do.
Tabu feints a couple of dives at Striker's knee, with Striker dodging each one. Finally Striker steps through the ropes to the apron and yells in the referee's direction. Striker turns his attention to the fans and yells at someone in the front row, and as he does so Tabu takes advantage by bouncing off the ropes, knocking Striker to the outside and into the guardrail. Striker hits his chin on the rail, but comes up furious and kicking the ring apron.
Sanders: Tabu takes advantage there.
McFarland: Look, Striker simply has to not worry about the fans here. It's just not gonna work with Tabu. The man's crazy. I don't think you'd want to be in his head even if you could get in there.
Striker walks around the outside as Tabu runs to the ropes and fakes a dive to the outside as Striker dodges and turns to gloat to the crowd by pointing to his head. While turned around, Tabu grabs onto the top rope and slingshots himself over with a plancha right onto the back of Striker. Tabu quickly walks over to the announcer's booth and pulls a chair away from a ringside attendant and climbs up onto the apron. Tabu slips the chair under his leg and jumps off with a legdrop through the chair onto the back of Striker's head. Striker writhes in pain as Tabu tosses the chair into the ring and goes to pull him to his feet.
McFarland: This is just getting uglier and uglier for Striker. Tabu is doing basically anything he wants to do right now and things are about to get earlier.
Sanders: Striker seems to be in a little bit of shock here. He hasn't even gotten one solid string of offense together.
Tabu pulls Striker to his feet while holding the chair and whips Striker into the ropes. As Striker comes back, Tabu swings the chair but Striker ducks and heads to the opposite ropes. Striker leaps onto the middle rope and twists in mid-air and kicks the middle of the chair sending it right into Tabu's forehead. Tabu goes down as Striker climbs the turnbuckle and flies off with a legdrop. Striker goes for the cover but gets only a two count.
McFarland: FINALLY THE OFFENSE...HAS COME BACK....TO STRIKER!!
Sanders: [rolling his eyes] Oh brother.
Striker pulls Tabu to his feet and then slips around to the back and hits a German suplex, holding on and then hitting two more in succession and bridging into a pinning position but only gets another two count. Striker gets up and goes to the turnbuckle and plays to the crowd as he waits for Tabu to struggle to his feet. Striker leaps off the ropes and hits a hurricanrana. Striker walks to the corner and stands on the middle rope and yells out into the crowd and applauds himself.
Sanders: Talk about two totally different matches here. It was all Tabu for the earlier portion of the match, but ever since Tabu missed that chair shot it's been all Striker.
Striker continues to play to the crowd as Tabu slowly makes it to his feet. A fan in the front row stands up and taunts Striker which prompts him to climb one foot up onto the top rope and point and yell in the fan's direction. Tabu however, comes up behind him and places him into a power bomb position and slams him down to the mat. Tabu holds onto his legs and gets a two count before Striker can kick out. Strikers rolls groggily into a seated position as Tabu gets up and bounces off the ropes and dropkicks him in the back of the head. Striker goes down as Tabu once again heads for the ropes and springs off the middle rope into a legdrop. Tabu grabs the chair underneath the far turnbuckle and drags Striker to the center of the ring and places the chair across his chest.
Sanders: This could be it. The DOA is a devastating moonsault over that chair and we could be seeing the end of Brad Striker right here!
McFarland: Here we go!! Tabu's up top....
Tabu turns around and leaps off into a moonsault and nails Striker in the center of the ring.
McFarland: And nails it! He nailed him! This one is over!
Tabu goes for the cover, but at the last possible moment, Striker kicks out.
Sanders: Oh my God! He kicked out! He kicked out!
Tabu looks on in disbelief and doesn't seem to know what to do. He walks to the ropes and looks down and kicks the bottom rope. When he turns around, Striker throws his fist up into the groin of Tabu and Tabu crumples to the mat.
V/O: FIVE MINUTES LEFT IN THIS MATCH....FIVE MINUTES!!!
Sanders: We're coming to the time limit of this matchup and Brad Striker has dodged a huge bullet!
McFarland: I can't believe this match isn't in the books, but you know what? Striker is a tough young man. These people are getting their money's worth here.
Striker wobbles over to Tabu and pulls him to his feet and whips him into the ropes. Tabu ducks a clothesline and heads to the opposite side of the ring. At the same time, Striker heads into the other ropes and springs off the top rope and hits an Asai Moonsault and gets a two count on the cover. Striker pulls Tabu back up and whips him back into the ropes and hits the tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Striker then climbs up to the top rope and flies off with a missile dropkick. Striker goes for the cover but as the ref's hand goes to strike the mat for the third time, Tabu just slips his arm out.
Sanders: ALMOST A THREE COUNT!
McFarland: What an amazing match this has turned out to be. Neither man can put the other away!!
V/O: TWO MINUTES LEFT IN THE MATCH....TWO MINUTES!!!
Sanders: We're coming to the time limit here!
Striker pulls Tabu back up to his feet and sets him up for a powerbomb, but Tabu backdrops him over. Tabu goes to pull Striker to his feet, but Striker pokes him in the eyes and goes for another powerbomb. Once again, Tabu flips him over. This time Tabu goes into the ropes. Striker drops to the mat as Tabu leaps over him and hits the other ropes. Striker gets to his feet and ducks a clothesline and as Tabu stops to turn around he gets met with a thunderous superkick to the jaw. Striker goes for the cover. As the ref is half way down on the third count the bell rings. Striker, thinking he has won leaps up and celebrates.
Sanders: Striker is up and celebrating, but I don't think he got the win here Garrett!
McFarland: I don't think so either. And now the ref is going over to him and explaining what's going on and he's not gonna like this one bit.
V/O: THE TIME LIMIT HAS EXPIRED...THEREFORE THIS MATCH IS A DRAW!!
Both men yell at the referee as suddenly Commissioner Dupree comes out and yells something to the referee in the ring, who relays a message to the ring announcer.
V/O: BY ORDER OF COMMISSIONER DUPREE, THERE WILL BE FIVE MORE MINUTES! FIVE MORE MINUTES!!
Sanders: WHOA. Dupree has come out and ordered and extension on this match. I don't know what interest Dupree has in this match but we're gonna keep on wrestling here!
McFarland: Dupree simply knows good wrestling when he sees it. This is not the type of match you want to see end in a draw.
Striker takes the upper hand quickly by kicking Tabu in the guy and doubling him over before hitting a DDT. He then climbs on his back and straps on a camel clutch in the center of the ring. Tabu is asked if he wants to submit but refuses as Striker finally gets frustrated and releases the hold to yell at the referee. Striker shoves the ref, who shoves him right back and sends Striker to the mat. Striker scoots backwards into a corner as the ref gets right in his face and yells him down. Striker gets to his feet and rushes Tabu, but Tabu drops to a knee and punches him in the stomach. Tabu slides out of the ring and grabs another chair. He jumps in and jabs Striker in the stomach with the chair and then throws it onto the mat. Tabu quickly grabs Striker around the neck and snaps him back with his Arabian legsweep. Tabu goes for the cover but again Striker gets his arm out at the last moment.
V/O: ONE MINUTE REMAINING!! ONE MINUTE REMAINING!
Tabu pulls him to his feet and leans him against the ropes and pummels away at Striker who slumps down to the middle rope and is laid out half in and half out of the ring.
Sanders: This is a very dangerous position for Striker here! Tabu is going up top....
Tabu climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a leg drop across Striker's throat. Tabu quickly rolls Striker into the ring and goes for the cover, but Striker kicks out at two. Tabu goes back to the top rope and prepares to leap off as Striker again comes to his feet. Tabu leaps off to attempt a hurricanrana, but Striker holds on and drops him on his back and turns him into position for his elevated Boston crab finisher.
Sanders: THE FINAL INSULT!! STRIKER HAS IT LOCKED ON BUT WILL TABU SUBMIT???
McFarland: It all comes down to this!!
Striker pulls back with all his might, but Tabu refuses to submit. Striker yells out loud with all his might, trying to pull back as hard as he can but Tabu still shakes his head violently refusing to submit. The bell rings.
V/O: THE TIME LIMIT HAS EXPIRED. THEREFORE THE OFFICIAL RESULT IS A TIME LIMIT DRAW!!!!
GM: You have to be kidding! What a rip! It should go another TEN MINUTES!
BS: I don't think it's going to happen, but you have to admit that was one HELL of a match.
GM: Well that's true, but we have no answer to who is going to be the number one contender.
BS: Hopefully that can be answered at Heatwave in Houston. Coming up next we've got the EWI Tag Team Belts on the line as current champions The Greats take on the returning Simply Stunning.
GM: The Greats have done the impossible, in my mind, and have held onto the belts to this point, but with Simply Stunning back in EWI I feel that they are only three seconds away from dropping the belts.
BS: Well we're about to find out cause this match is about to start. Let's go to the ring for this expected exciting match-up!
