The Motor City Maniacs vs Simply Stunning

Combined Weight 556lbs | Combined Weight 555 lbs

Detroit, MI | Sunderland, England

"Detroit Rock City" - Kiss | "Let Me Entertain You" - Robbie Williams

Simply Stunning enters to a huge face pop, while the Maniacs, are greeted with hateful boos from the crowd. Ripper Robertson and "Stunning" Simon Wilcox start things out in the ring. Wilcox quickly goes for a clotheline, but Robertson ducks it and nails Wilcox with a kick to the stomach, followed by a flowing DDT. Wilcox quickly gets up and catches the approaching Robertson with a drop toe hold, sending Ripper face first into the bottom rope. Wilcox wait for Ripper to get up and then hits him with a drop kick and goes for the quick cover, but Max Mayhem breaks up the count.

BS: Simply Stunning knows better than to try to pin the Maniacs this early on.

Wilcox turns aroudnd to Mayhem and clotheslines him, but then turns around to be met with a clothesline of his own from Robertson. By this time, Michael Hardy is in the ring and the four men begin brawling. Robertson whips Wilcox into the ropes and catches him coming off with a powerslam onto the canvas. He picks him up and delivers an inverted DDT onto Wilcox, slamming the back of his head into the canvas. With Wilcox down, Robertson drops a knee onto the throat of him, leaving Wilcox gasping for air. He then picks him up and powerbombs him hard. Meanwhile, Max Mayhem attempts to whip Hardy into the ropes, but Hardy reverses it and tosses Mayhem out onto the concrete. As Mayhem gets up dazed, Hardy runs and catapults himself out of the ring and meets Mayhem with a flying cross body block, knocking the big man back down. Hardy picks Mayhem up and whips him into the steel steps. Robertson sees what is going on outside the ring, leaves Wilcox, and slides out of the ring. While Hardy is stomping on Max Mayhem, he doesn't notice that Robertson has slipped in behind him. Robertson taps Hardy on the shoulder and when Hardy turns around, Robertson latches his hand around the throat of Hardy and chokeslams him on the cold concrete floor.

BS: Holy moley! Robertson with a DEVASTATING chokeslam on Michael Hardy.

GM: Holy Moley?!?

By this time, Wilcox has regained his senses and nails the celebratory Robertson with a baseball slide, knocking Roberton rib first into the guard rails. With Robertson holding his side, Wilcox levels him with a standing sidekick, taking Ripper to his knees. Wilcox then slips on the sleeper while, a few feet away, Max Mayhem has Hardy set up for a powerbomb, which he delivers, leaving a loud smack of skin-on-concrete sound in the ears of the audience.

BS: This match is going back and forth! This is anyone's match!

Mayhem pulls Hardy up by the hair and rolls him into the ring. With Hardy on the verge of unconsciousness, Mayhem ascends the turnbuckle and pounces off, nailing Hardy with a HUGE moonsault from the top. Mayhem with the cover. 1,2-- kickout!

GM: What the hell....?

BS: Amazing! How in the hell did Michael Hardy kick out of THAT!?

GM: You cursed, Bret.

BS: Uh... so did you Gary Mac.

GM: For the last time, DON'T call me--

Meanwhile, on the outside of the ring, Ripper Roberston is fading fast from the sleeper from Wilcox. The ref slides out of the ring to check on Ripper. He lifts his hand. It falls once.... twice... thr-- Ripper catches it. With intensity, he slowly begins to use every ounce of his strength to get to his feet, lifting Wilcox with him. When he reaches full height, he pulls Wilcox over and slams him down on the concrete. Robertson then stumbles over and grabs a ring side chair. Wilcox recovers rather quickly, but is met with a thunderous chair shot from Robertson. Back in the ring, Mayhem has Hardy up and hits him with a swinging neckbreaker, further phasing his opponent. With Hardy dazed, Mayhem slips onto the outside, and helps his partner stomp on Simon Wilcox. The pick him up and Ripper spears Wilcox from the back while Mayhem nails him with a superkick.

BS: The Motor City Maniacs are dominating the challengers!

Mayhem then leaves Ripper to work on Wilcox and pulls two tables from under the ring and slides them into the ring. Mayhem sets up one of the tables and sets the other leaning on the turnbuckle before placing Hardy on his shoulders. Mayhem takes Hardy down with a DVD through the table!!

BS: Oh my god! This has GOT to be it! Mayhem with the cover! One, two, thr--- NO!! Michael Hardy MIRACULOUSLY kicks out!!

On the outside, Ripper attempts to whip Wilcox into the turnbuckle, but somehow, Wilcox reverses it and sends Ripper into the steele, teeth-first. Ripper stumbles backwards and Wilcox levels hiim with a belly to back suplex. This move took every ounce of Wilcox's energy and both men lay on the floor, exasperated.

BS: Simon Wilcox with an amazing comeback but will it be enough?!

GM: Uh, Bret? Who is that?

BS: Who is--

Two men begins walking to the ring with a purpose in their steps. One of the men is recognizable as Tommy Payne but the other is a new face.

BS: That's Tommy Payne from the Brothers Pain, but who is his friend?

GM: You're asking me?

The two men run into the ring and begin double teaming Max Mayhem, as Michael Hardy regains himself on the outside. Hardy runs over and helps his partner up and Simply Stunning begins double teaming Ripper Robertson. They pick him up and nail him with a double drop kick. They then roll him back into the ring. They follow suit and whip Robertson into the ropes. Hardy catches Robertson with a drop toe hold while Wilcox hits a somersault leg drop. Hardy with the cover!

BS: We could have new champs here !

One Two Thr--- kickout!!! Hardy, visually frustrated, picks Robertson up. Simply Stunning double Irish whips Robertson into the ropes but Robertson bounds off with a double clothesline, taking both men down! Robertson, who has apparently gained some sort of adrenaline rush, runs over to where Tommy Payne and his associate are choking Max Mayhem on the bottom rope. Robertson turns one of the men around and chokeslams him into a backbreaker, then picks up the other with a pump handle slam. He helps his partner, Mayhem up and they begin stomping on the four downed men in the ring. Max ascends the top rope. Robertson, picks up Tommy Payne and picks him up for a suplex, handing him to Mayhem, who delivers a tombstone from the top rope. He then rolls, Payne out of the ring. Meanwhile, Simon Wilcox has gotten to his feet and attempts to clothesline, Robertson, but Robertson ducks and Wilcox hits Tommy Payne's mystery partner instead, sending him tumbling over the ropes. Wilcox then turn to be met with a drop kick attempt from Max Mayhem, but he ducks it and then locks his knees around Mayhem's and slingshots him into the turnbuckle. Wilcox is celebrating when Ripper Robertson spears him. Michael Hardy runs after Robertson, who leans down and tosses Hardy out of the ring, causing him to land on Tommy Payne and Co. Max Mayhem ascends the top turnbuckle as Ripper Robertson sets Wilcox up for a powerbomb.

BS: This looks like the Motor City Death Drop!

Powerbomb by Robertson. Max Mayhem with the splash, but Cole Steele has appeared out of no where and hits Mayhem in the back of the head with a steele chair! Mayhem crumbles to the canvas with a thud. Robertson runs to confront Steele, who simply shrugs off the comments of Ripper and thwacks him in the side of the head with the chair. Steele then slips away through the crowd. By now, Wilcox and Hardy are reunited in the ring. They pick up Robertson and hit him with a double backbreaker into a double kick to the midsection on the way down. Mayhem attempts to get up but Hardy notices and picks up the chair left by Steele and brings the steel down on the cranium of the "Madman." He then runs back over to his partner, who is on the top turnbuckle. Hardy picks Robertson up and delivers a running power bomb while Wilcox simultaneously delivers a bulldog from the top rope. Wilcox re-ascends the turnbuckle as Hardy sends Ripper into the ropes and delivers a tilt a whirl slam. Wilcox comes off the top with a 360 degree moonsault.

BS: "Quite Simply Awesome!" Simply Stunning with the double cover! One, Two, Three!! Exteme Wrestling International has NEW Tag Team Champions! Simply Stunning has DONE IT!

GM: Whoopie.

Winner: Simply Stunning (NEW EWI Tag Team Champion)

BS: And why did the Maniacs own stablemate, "Triple X" Cole Steele attack them?

The crowd goes nuts as Simply Stunning aquires the belts from the referee and exit up the ramp. In the ring, May Mayhem has regained his senses and helps his partner up. Both men are in disbelief. They get to their feet but are met with attacks with chairs from Tommy Payne and his friend. The men whip the Maniacs into the ropes simultaneously, then each his their own dropkick. They then proceed to beat on the Maniacs with the steel chair and they stomp on them with their boots. The exhausted Maniacs are no match for the two fresh attackers so they roll out of the ring and begin to exit the arena. They are stopped by the sound of Tommy Payne's voice.

TP: Motor City Maniacs. I'm terribly sorry about your loss tonight.

The crowd cheers as Max Mayhem and Ripper Robertson look at the duo with brooding contempt.

Now I'd like to introduce you to my new compadre and newest member of the St. Louis Calab-O... He's not crazy, he's JUSTIN SANE!!!

GM: Justin Sane? Oh my god.

TP: That's right Maniacs, you heard it right. The St. Louis Calab-O is back... WITH A VENGENCE!

Max Mayhem is about to rush the ring, when Robertson stops him and the two former champions head to the back.

BS: The St. Louis Calab-O is back ladies and gents! The Maniacs have been screwed over TWICE tonight! And we all know what that leads to!

GM: Ass whipin' time, eh?

BS: Well put, Gary Mac.

GM: Stop calling me that!

BS: Folks, our next match is coming up. Congrats again to Simply Stunning for what will surely be remembered as a hard fought victory. Folks I'm being told that we have to go to the back.

GM: Why?

BS: Cause a truck has just pulled up and they have dropped off Kin Hiroshi!

GM: OH HELL YEAH go to the back!

The truck screeches away and the camera zooms on Kin Hiroshi, who is lying on his stomach, coughing up blood and just suffering from the assault. After a few moments, a voice can be heard, but the voice is too low to be understood. Suddenly, slow, solid footsteps are heard approaching. The camera stays on Kin. Finally, the stranger approaches Kin, his feet at Kin's bloody head. The camera stays in its view and only the boots of the stranger are seen.

Stranger: Poor nothing. You are nothing.....that's all you'll ever be. You deserve what you got. Though, as I look down upon you, I can't help but feel sorry for you. You do not belong here. You should run away. Not waste away. You were already given this message. You're scars, bruises, and pain show that. Now, I will give you another message......

The camera slowly zooms outward and the camera is lifted to see the stranger. He is wearing a long, black trenchcoat. His face is ghostly pale and his hair is black and long. He looks out in the direction of where the truck had sped off.

Stranger: I am here. You wanted me here. May the weak fear.

The stranger looks back down at Kin.

Stranger: You are a fool. A weak fool. I know what it feels like to be a fool. I know the pain, the misery. Now, you shall feel my "Misery."

The stranger grabs Kin by the hair with his black gloves. He lifts Kin to his feet, but must support the weakened one to keep him up.

Stranger: Be wise. You can disappear after this. Don't let stupidity overcome you. Don't destroy yourself.

The stranger then sets Kin in position for "Misery" (tombstone). The stranger's eyes glow red and just before Ken's head connects with the cement, the camera goes to black and a second later, a horrible, unearthly scream is heard from Kin and a thundering crack is heard. Camera cuts off and cuts back to Gary and Brett.

BS: What was that all about?

GM: In the EWI? You're kidding right?

BS: Ladies and Gentlemen, coming up next is the Final match of the Federation Title tounament. The winners of the previous matches tonight will now go on to face one another and the winner will be the new and first EWI Federation Champion.

GM: You gonna tell 'em who's in it?

BS: Well, if they've been paying attention then they know, but, what the hey, I'll tell them anyway. This next match pits "Mr Main Event" Rob Sampson against Mr Wrestling 2000.

GM: I really don't see how the hell either of these guys are going to be in a good position to win this match after the previous battles they fought tonight.

BS: True, Gary. Now, we all know that Mr Wrestling 2K apparently has some sort of unfinished business with Sampson. What it is, we don't know. But we do know that these two are not exactly the best of friends.

GM: Are you kidding? Mr Wrestling seems so concerned with Sampson that he won't shut up about it. "Mr Main Event" could seem to care less. Mr Wrestling is nothing more than a fly on his shoulder.

BS: Well, that's the opinion from Gary Mac. Let's get this match underway.

BS: This match is going back and forth and back again folks. There's no telling who's gonna win this one, although Mr Wrestling has the upper hand at this point, but that could change very quickly with an opponent like Sampson.

Sampson makes his way to his feet. Clothesline from MW2K, taking Sampson back down. Sampson rolls out of the ring to regain himself, but is rewarded with a baseball slide by MW2K. Sampson hooks MW2K in the Glass Ceiling (elevated Boston crab). The ref checks on MW2K who is visibly in pain. The crowd is going nuts as Sampson keeps the submission move on, but MW2K doesn't submit.

BS: There's no way that MW2K is gonna let himself submit to his most hated enemy.

GM: He may not have a choice!

Finally, MW2K makes his way to the ropes, and Sampson is forced to release the hold. A very annoyed Sampson pulls MW2K up and lifts him a top his shoulders.

BS: Oh my god! Could it be? Yes it is! The Headliner! The Headliner by Sampson! This one's over!

BS: Mr Wrestling 2000 has done it! He is the first ever EWI Federation Champion! Rob Sampson put up a hell of a fight, but just couldn't make it this time! Mr Wrestling has defied the odds and BEAT "Mr Main Event" Rob Sampson!

(MW2k is disheveled, but calls for the microphona as he drapes the belt over his right shoulder. The Night Cripplers assist Sampson out of the ring as he tries to decipher how defeat was plucked from the jaws of what looked like a sure victory. )

MW2k: Now the moment all you EWI Lovers have been waiting for. Time to see who the man that calls himself the biggest of the megastars is and I promise it’s worth the month long wait you’ve had. ..... but first folks I have a few names to call and a few issues to deal with. First off Sampson and John Milner, I tip my hat to you two competitors..... you fought hard and you lost, fair and square just like Mr Wrestling Too Kind likes it, to a better man, certainly nothing to be ashamed of.(Smiles and pats belt) Next me being the give, give, give and never take kinda guy that I am, I’d like to invite struggling young journalist Victoria McCave into this ring and offer her the exclusive on unmasking International Superstar, Mr Wrestling Too Kind. (McCave tentatively makes her way to the ring. MW2k opens the ropes for her to step through, but releases them before she gets all the way through tripping her to the mat. He helps her up then hands her the microphone.) Hold this you little flower, my old blonde microphone stand has moved on her merry way. Do you know your wrestling history Vicky??

VM: I believe I do.

MW2k: What does the name Jim Sears mean to you?

VM: He started the old MWC.

MW2k: Well you’re partially right Vick. Actually, Jim Sears was the West Virginia red neck who wanted to be a wrestling promoter and founded Big Time Rasslin’. He ran out of money almost before he got started, but the man pulled off getting the biggest young star in wrestling to sign a contract. When he went to the bank for venture capital, the banker said he had no assets, but Jim did have an asset, that contract and he got the venture capital he needed because Jim Sears had that name on a contract. Do you know the name J.W. Locke??

VM: Well of course I do.

MW2k: Of course, well Jim Sears couldn’t balance his checkbook, more or less run a million dollar wrestling promotion and he didn’t pay BTR’s taxes.... Jim Sears was going to jail and he knew it, but he called JW Locke and asked if he’d like to buy into BTR. JW was a great business man and even turned out to be a friend, but he saw no value in anything Sears had, anything except that contract, JW had no intention of investing in Jim Sears, but he did keep him out of jail and he used that contract to start an international promotion, when talent was a problem that wrestler’s name drew friends and foes with world famous names like Kevin Powers, Steve Radder, Apocalypse, Rob Sampson and Pat Black. The MWC was a hit because of that one contract Jim Sears got signed, JW Locke’s promotion was known around the world.

VM: So what does all this have to do with anything and why are you boring these fans with this short story??

MW2k: I’m gonna come right back to that, Vicky but the next issue, and folks this is a big one for me, I do not work for, I do not cash checks signed by, and I do not wrestle in matches booked by Erik Zima. To me the EWI is only a show on the channel owned by my employer Boss Gottfried, and the Super Sports Network. I am the Super Sports Network Federation Champion and I and the staff at SSN do not acknowledge Dumpree, Zima or even it’s former Extreme World Champion Evan Achoo. Evan, as of right now, I declare your belt retired. You have tried to pull off that you were the winningest wrestler in EWI history but that has never been true..... the man Jim Sears signed years ago has won more EWI matches than you’ve wrestled in, and I am Federation Champion and the symbol of what SSN Wrestling has always stood for, and SSN demands that you never bring that worthless piece of fool’s gold back on cable TV again, That you acknowledge that you have never been the greatest champion in BTR, MWC, EWI or SSN history, that you never mention the now defunct Extreme Wrestling International again..... and Evan if you don’t like it...... you don’t have to take it up with Gottfried, you don’t hafta take it up with SSN ....... you don’t hafta take it up with Erik Zima.....(tugs the mask off, his long blonde hair falls to his shoulders, the cuts and holes from Jade’s staple attack remain on his forehead.) YOU BOY, TAKE IT UP WITH THE LAKE HARTWELL HEARTTHROB,(pumps thumb at chest.) HURRICANE EDDY LOVE. (Huge smile as the whole arena erupts, McCave takes a step back, the cheers last about 30 seconds then after the excitement of his return wears off, the fans begin booing wildly and tossing cups into the ring.

GM: It’s EDDY LOVE, Hurricane Eddy is back in the EWI, er I mean back on SSN.

LOVE: Now I’ve seen Zima, Powers, Radder and a host of others not show the proper respect after I made their careers..... but I got my heart broken tonight when my former valet, not manager Melissa, valet came out here and secured the services of that EWI scum the Vitol Idols.... but baby I got me a new girl too, so now you can be jealous. (Love grabs McCave and lays a big wet kiss on her, she slaps him as soon as he releases her.)

BS: Looks like Victoria doesn’t have the same feelings for Love as she does for him. He grabs her up, he wouldn’t....

GM: The hell he wouldn’t he’s got her up for the Hurricane Piledriver....

BS: It’s EVAN AHO.... he’s coming down the ramp to save Victoria. Love has spotted him and dropped McCave..... Love lands a right on Aho, Aho fires back with a right and Love goes straight down. Eddy Love rolls through the ropes and off he goes.

GM: He did his Carl Lewis imitation, Love has sprinted up the ramp and out of harm’s way..... what a coward.

BS: He told Aho to take it up with him, but boy that story changed when Aho showed up.

GM: Evan is checking on Victoria, it looks like he has something to say.....

(Aho grabs the microphone still trembling with rage.)

EA: Is that your idea of a challenge Love? There’s a fine line between courage and stupidity…you just crossed that line.

(Evan tosses the mic down and helps Victoria out of the ring, then proceeds to walk with her to the back.)

BS: What a turn of events! First Mr. Wrestling reveals himself to be “Hurricane” Eddy Love, then he manages to draw the first bit of emotion we have EVER seen out of one Evan Aho!

GM: Could this be a chink in Aho’s armor?

BS: Only time will tell. And speaking of time we have finally made our way to the MAIN EVENT of tonights presentation of Bad Blood and what an event it will be!

GM: I can't argue with that Brett. Aho vs Commando, and neither man knows what the stipulation will be going into the match.

BS: We'll see how ready both men are in just a second as they head down to the ring.
