How to select the right shape then?

No worry when you have problem selecting the eyebrow shape. The most important thing is to choose one that you really like and feel comfortable with. It is suggested that you cover the eyebrow hairs that you intend to pluck away with concealer, until you get the shape that you want.

But it's painful!

Yes it is! For the first one or two times you pluck you eyebrow hair, you are probably dropping tears. But once you got used to it, it will be easy. Just hang on! Well if you still think that the pain is too much (some people do have strong hair roots and plucking the eyebrows can be really painful), you might want to do it after shower when your pores open up in the steam, or you can put a warm towel over your eyebrows for awhile before you pluck it.
