Brawls

Brawls

This page contains cases of our ever popular facination of pitting two things, (the term thing can apply to just about anything in this instance and is chosen specificly for its ambiguity) of pitting two things, creatures, forces, any combination thereof, or anything else that can be contrived by the human brain, against something else in a fight, game or contest.
This phenomenon has been called by many names, such as the "Who would win game" and the "Virtue Game", I like to call it "Scenerios", but you can't beat the ever-popular term "Brawls".

Please E-mail me any scenrios that you feel would make a contribution to this page, also let me know if you want credit for it or not.

LION ~vs~ SHARK

The most famous Brawl, and still possibly one of the best and inconclusive, is between a Male Lion and a Great White Shark.
Obviously since the Lion can't breath underwater and would die, and the shark would have severely limited mobility on land there is a paradoxical relationship between these two creatures that is difficult to get around. The most common attempt at a solution is to put both the creatures in 2 or 3 feet of water so that both the shark and the lion would have a hard time moving at full speed and strength. (This solution is discussed in the movie "The Cure" which is a pretty good movie and was filmed in my friend's house in Stillwater MN.) Well I think this sulotion is weak because who wants to see a scenerio where they can't use their full movement and stuff.

Here is my proposal:
Both the lion and the shark are given bio-electrical implants and thrusters that allow them free range of motion in a weightless enviornment. They are then placed in an anti-gravity chamber (or in space whichever happens to be available) and subsequently are allowed to fight to the death.

Hot man ~vs~ Cold man
(concieved by Myself TreeTanning)

This scenario is a perfectly even match. You take a man that is pure hot, for this scenario, we will make him 100 degress Centegrade. There is also a cold man, -100 Centigrade. you put them in a room with exactly a 0 temperature. You would make sure that the amount of light in the room would be no more than 50% light, if thats possible. They are also in a zero gravity containment chamber so that no heat fluxuations from the earth can sway the outcome of the fight. also make sure that there is a 0% humidity in the air inside the battle chamber. Neither man could wear clothes, providing that they don't burn off of the hot man. They could possibly seal in heat or cold more than the other man, making the dual uneven. As always they battle to the death.
Myself and TreeTanning recently had to drive his little brother home from my girlfriend's house (umm long story) but anywayz we had like an hour and a half to talk about this scenerio. There were many variations on the scenerio and at first I wasn't going to allow it as a true scenerio because it pretty ficticious and kinda vauge. (like exactly what is a hot man or a cold man?) But since the rules state "anything that can be contrived by the human brain" I was obligated to allow it. Besides it made for an interesting scenerio and I was pretty bored.
