This is probably the most frequent question I get, whether I think 2Pac is dead or alive. I have mixed feelings about this. There are several intresting coinsidences about Tupac's death. Such as the "I Ain't Mad at Cha" video which Tupac helped direct that potrayed Pac getting shot and dying and going to heaven, or the Makaveli/Jesus Christ Relation, or even recently with "God Bless The Dead," after taking all those facts and several others into consideration I formed an opinion, yet I do not want to offend those who think he is dead or those who think he is alive so I will just keep that opinion to myself. Whether he is dead or alive, his music will live forever.
This is the topic that has been pissing me off the most latley. Like Pac said "My Lyrics are blueprints to making millions" and No Limit's been using those blueprints for the past few years. Master P was supposively "cool" with Pac in '95 before P "blew up." Master P and No Limit were not that bad until 2pac and B.I.G died. Then Master P made himself the "Last Don." Saying that Tupac and Biggie Smalls took the kiss of death so he could be the Last Don. Then the blant sampeling began. There are several title's, tracks, beats, and lyrics stolen from Pac and pasted onto No Limit releases. Here is a list off all the Tupac Jackings:
Here are unreleased tracks that No Limit has totally jacked.
C-Murder "On My Enemies" off Bossaline totally ripped off Pac's unreleased track "When We Ride On Our Enemies." The beat was totally jacked and the lyrics were totally almost 100% jacked, yet C said it was a dedication to Pac and did not mention the heavy sampling in the cd cover, man rippin off a legend's shit ain't a dedication!
"A coward dies 1000 deaths, A soldier dies but once" - 2Pac (1995)
"A coward dies a million deaths, but a soldier dies only once" - Master P (1998)
The title of Master P's Greatest Hits will be called "Only God Can Judge Me", ironically thats a 2Pac track.
Kane & Able on their last No Limit album jacked Pac's unreleased track w/ the Outlawz, "Soldiers Story." The said it was dedicated the real soldiers and like C, it had no mention of the blant 2Pac jackings.
On Tru's latest album, there is a track by C-Murder called "Hail Mary", wonder where he got that..
On Master P's "MP Da Last Don" he takes the concepts of a few 2Pac tracks, 2Pac wrote a song about his mother called "Dear Mama", P wrote a song called "Mama Raised Me." Also Pac has an unreleased track called "Letter to the President" expressing his dislike of American politics and ironically Master P claimed the idea for himself with a track w/ Mac called "Dear Mr. President."
Now I don't hate No Limit or anything I just wish they'd go back to their old school shit and quite jacking other artists and go back to being No Limit. It seems now they are ridiculously jacking Ca$h Money Records, everything CMR does it seems NL does it too. Its rumored the two labels have beef. Deathrow is rumored to be working w/ CMR on an album. The only thing the two labels have in common is they both don't like No Limit.
