The Perfect Love
Have you ever known a PERFECT LOVE? A love so beautiful and real; it’s almost impossible to express how you feel. A love that has lasted a life time. Love so pure that heartache and pain hasn’t faltered it. Have you ever known a love that is always there never judging, and always fair. A love so strong in your heart that nothing can tear it apart. Love that wipes away the tears, carries you through all your fears that is never criticizing, a love that defends you, that you can share all of your desires with, your fantasies and your dreams. A love that understands your most inner intimacies, a love that has survived the test of the years come and gone. This is a love that grows stronger as the years pass. A love that comes along ‘once’ in a lifetime! A love ‘through the years’; I have shared with you! You are this kind of love, I love you. Thank you for being the “PERFECT LOVE.”

Here are some of my favorite Love Quotes:

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go, and others stay a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never, EVER, the same again."

"Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." -- Corinthians 13:7-8

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres. Love never fails." -1 Corintians 13:4

"Do not marry a person that you know that you can live with; only marry someone that you cannot live without."

"My love for you is a journey; Starting at forever, And ending at never."

"Husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it .. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." ~ Ephesians 5:25-33 ~

"If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you." - A. A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh)

"Love does not consist in gazing at each other but in looking together in the same direction." ~ by Antoine de Saint-Exupery ~

"You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly." ~ by Sam Keen ~

Here we are....living proof that the unimaginable can happen! This was on our wedding day!

The song playing is I Finally Found Someone by Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand from the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces.

Hey everyone...this is Matt and Jeanne. Matt is from Alabama and Jeanne is from Massachusetts. Yes we met on the internet on yahoo chat in March of 1998. After a couple of months of chatting and emailing we started to fall for each other. We had exchanged pictures although to both of us the looks were not important. We had discovered each other's inner beauty. At the time we were both with a significant other and had our own lives. During the summer of '98 Matt and I became best friends through some tough ordeals I was dealing with. By the time September rolled around we were in love. We finally admitted it once I moved back to school. Now we just had to meet. I decided to go there. I wasn't afraid. Matt was the most honest person I knew. And although we met online I didn't have one bad feeling about taking the trip down alone. I knew in my soul this was fate. So on Dec 3rd 1998 we finally met in person. The first moment I saw him in the airport I knew without a doubt this IS the man I am going to marry. He was everything I had envisioned and so MUCH more. After quite a few trips, some heavy duty phone bills, and lots of letters and emails we decided around April of '99 we had to live together...we couldn't stand the thought of being apart any longer. Our parents were all for it. Surprising as that sounds I think they understood how happy we were and of course still are. We planned the move for July 14th-16th 1999. Matt was coming up on the 12th to drive down to Alabama with me. We got engaged on July 12th 1999. That was such a shock to me (jeanne) I totally did not expect it. We moved in together July 16th. We're in love more than ever and enjoying our time together. We don't take advantage of the time we have because we know that it's precious. Only those who have experienced long distance love can relate. It's a tough thing to do. We are deeply in love so much that we can't even begin to explain it. We hope that we can be an example to others that long distance relationships do work. They take a lot of hard work, trust, sacrafice and honesty. We got married on November 27th 1999 [Our wedding website is listed at the bottom of this page]. Over the past few years we have learned so many things about ourselves and relationships. We definitely are soulmates. It's almost eerie sometimes....but we know deep down we were meant for one another and no one else. Our family has grown over the time we've been here in Alabama. We have had and lost several animals =(. We still have 3 fur babies. And we have a baby girl due on Feb 18th 2011. We're so excited for this new addition. Well, that's all for now....check out the page, and sign the guestbook...

This is us on our first night meeting each other EVER. Dec 98

Here we are (first trip to meet each other Dec 98)

This was at matt's mom's house in dec 98.

This is a pic of us before Matty left Boston in March of 99. At this point we had no idea what the future held. We didn't have any trip plans like we had on previous trips. We had no idea when we'd see each other next...as u can see it isn't easy to leave.

Here is a picture of us. This was two days after Matt proposed to me. We were leaving to move south. My parents gave us a couple of books and one had a hefty check in it for our engagement! =)
