The Suzuki Swift GT/GTi Standard FeaturesSuzuki didn't skimp when the time came to furnish the Swift cockpits. With the Swift GT/GTi, you'll get the same high-quality, ergonomically-correct interior loaded with creature comforts and standard features. For the price of a stripped-down econobox, the Swift offers full carpeting, cloth trim, a full complement of analog gauges, and a host of standard features. Easy Living Functional or utilitarian doesn't necessarily mean you have to be surrounded by a cardboard interior and paper-thin upholstery. The operative word here is quality -- in materials, workmanship and design. The Swift offers a rear window defogger, rear window wiper and washer, power remote side mirrors, remote rear door opener, remote fuel-filler door opener, split folding rear seats, reclining front seats, and a rear luggage shelf, just to mention a few items. The GT/GTi also offers first-rate sporting gear. First and foremost are the deeply bolstered and contoured sports seats. These seats offer the same level of support and comfort you'll find in hideously expensive sports cars. Adjustable for rake, as well as fore and aft, these seats provide support for the lower back area to keep the driver and passenger properly located and comfortable. Upholstered in luxurious cloth, they're constructed of high-density foam and reinforced with steel perimeter rods to help keep them from sagging over the life of the car. The rest of the sporting gear includes a beefy, 3-spoke steering wheel and a thick shift knob. |
