Dwarves are the only people to have begun life underground. Legend has it that they were made from the mountains by their gods long ago, and this belief is lent to by the characteristics of the Dwarves, for they are as tough and hardy as the stone they live under. Dwarves are also renowned for their wisdom and foresight. Dwarves are quite short, usually around 3'6" to 4'6", but are very stocky and dense, making them weigh normally in the 160-180lbs range. Their skin tone is usually grey to a ruddy brown, and their hair normally favors the darker shades. Dwarves also all possess beards, both males and females.
