RESULTS FROM THE 2000 LIBERTY OCTOBER TOURNAMENT |
The Liberty October Tournament was
held on 21 October 2000 at Liberty High School in
Colorado Springs. It was a 4SS G/30 event with both a
USCF rated section and a nonrated section. Larry Wutt
organized the tournament on behalf of Southern Colorado
Chess. The directors were Ken Schwartz and Roy Heath. In the 16 player rated section, Vladimir Kishinevsky scored a perfect 4.0 to win the $36 first prize. Andrew Gibson and Steve Smythe shared the U1200/Unr prize at 2.0 points, each taking home $8. Dustin Gault and Bob Lojewski both scored 3.0 to split the $24 first prize in the 7 player nonrated section. Here is the crosstable from the rated section: |
