Results from the 1999 Liberty May Tournament

The Liberty May Tournament was held on 15 May 1999 at Liberty High School in Colorado Springs. Larry Wutt organized the event, which consisted of a quick rated section and a nonrated section.

With 3.5 points apiece, Dan Avery and Buck Buchanan tied for first place in the 4SS G/29 quick rated section. Each took home $25 for his efforts.

The nonrated section was played as a 4 person double round robin at G/20. Roy Heath captured first place, winning $10 with a score of 4.0 out of 6.0. Dan Cabrera and Paul Wamble shared second place with 3.0 points, each receiving $3.
