Mountains from Baker's Bridge
Here is a picture of the Animas river at the infamous Durango landmark that is Baker's Bridge. This area is a local swimming hole that was also featured in the film Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. The lack of trees on the mountain is due to a fire that ravaged thousands of acres of land two summers ago.
The La Plata's from Hesperus
This is a view of the La Plata's from a county road between Hesperus and Breen, CO. In my opinion this area in SW Colorado is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. When asked how I can believe in God, one of the things that comes to mind is this area.
