As part of his job as photographer
(both official and unofficial) for many area fire departments,
including the Animas Fire Protection District and the Hermosa
Cliff Fire Protection District, of which he is a member, Robert
has taken photos of accident and fire scenes that have been printed
in many newspapers, the largest being USA
Today. Shown below are thumbnails of just a few published
photos.
USA Today published this photo of an
accident northeast of Durango, Colorado.
The Durango Herald published these
photos of the same accident.

HBO has also purchased copies of photos
from this accident for use in its sports series "HBO Real
Sports With Bryant Gumbel".
The show will air on March 28, 2000.
