Griffith E. Richards, 84, retired dairy farmer, died at the home of his nephew, Thomas R. Williams, in this village Wednesday following an illness of several weeks duration. Heart disease was the cause of death.  Mr. Richards was born in Llanbrynmair, Wales, March 14, 1841. He came to this country in 1848 and located in the town of Marcy.  He later lived in Bridgewater and the town of Paris coming to the town of Marshall 30 years ago.  He married Mary Reader January 1, 1869. She died in 1873. He then married Mary Gwynn in 1892 and she died in 1911.
