Prostate Cancer Seed Implants

This page is created to acquaint you with the availability of prostate seed implants for use in the treatment of prostate cancer. All implants performed by Front Range Radiation Oncology, P.C. and The Prostate Seed Center LLC are either I-125 or Pd-103 in nature and use ultrasonic as well as flouroscopic guidance to place the seeds. All implants are planned using ultrasound and CT based 3D reconstruction of the prostate gland.
The president of Front Range Radiation Oncology P.C.(FRRO) is David P. Schreiber, M.D., an expert in the field of Brachytherapy (implantation of radioisotopes into malignant tumors). FRRO performs prostate seed implants for the Medicare population.
Dr. Schreiber is also the chief executive officer of The Prostate Seed Center LLC (PSCLLC). PSCLLC is co-owned by 20 urologists in the Rocky Mountain region (chiefly the Denver area) and performs prostate seed implants on the non-Medicare population of our patients.
