A Tourist Attraction
A TOURIST ATTRACTION

A family came in the club tonight
Wanting to witness the country life
Wearing cowboy hats, as souvenirs
The ones with the string around the ears

Their cowboy boots were shiny and new
They could barely walk and they looked like fools
I felt insulted when they started to laugh
Saying "chees" for the picture flash

I swear, sometimes it's like

We're a tourist attraction, for all to see
These cowboy hats and tight wrangler jeans
A sight that comes, only once in a life
If they dont look now, it'll pass them by

They tried the two-step, they were way off beat
It looked they were walking with two left feet
The music's not different from the sound they now
But they think it is and they'll tell you so

They were holding their buckles, and stomping loud
They think it's the style of the redneck crowd
Their knees were bent when they "cattle called"
Screaming words like "yee-haw" and "ya'll"

I swear, sometimes it's like

We're a tourist attraction, for all to see
These cowboy hats and tight wrangler jeans
A sight that comes, only once in a life
If they dont look now, it'll pass them by

Repeat chorus fading
