Los miembros del jurado lo fueron los pintores Epifanio Irizarry Jusino y José Azaustre Muró. ( Programas de Talleres Sabatinos, M. (The exhibition was visited by the artist Francisco Rodón, who at that time had became a celebrity. Rodón was 37 years old at that time and was part of the jury, along with the painters Jorge Rechany and Angel Bueso, Senior. Aug. 1973: Conesa's biography, as a promising young artist at that time, is included in the prestigious Gran Enciclopedia de Puerto Rico at the Plastic Arts Book (Volume number 8) compiled by the Art Critic Antonio Molina and Dr. Osiris Delgado, painter and art historian. / Como pintor joven y prometedor para aquel entonces, la biografía de Conesa es incluída en La Gran Enciclopedia de Puerto Rico en el libro de las Artes Plásticas (Volumen 8) recopilado por el crítico de arte Antonio Molina y el Dr. Osiris Delgado, pintor e historiador de arte.

(In July of 1972 Conesa was drafted by the US Army and Discharged in 1974. After his military service decided to stay in the state of Georgia from which he participated in a number of collective regional, national and international exhibitions. He lived in the states of Georgia until august of 1983 when he moved back to Puerto Rico with his first wife Reina Inés Conesa García. His first wife Reina was the model for many of his works at that time. His most famous portrait of her he called: Click here to see:"Flor de Amapola" . That same year of 1983 Miguel Conesa was included ever since in Who’s Who in American Art / En Julio del 1972 Conesa fue llevado por el servicio militar obligatorio del ejército norteamericano y se licencio en 1974. Luego de su servicio militar decidió quedarse en el estado de Georgia de donde participó en numerosas exhibiciones regionales, nacionales e internacionales. Vivió en el estado de Georgia hasta agosto de 1983 con su primera esposa Reina Inés Conesa García. Su primera esposa Reina fue modelo para mucho de los trabajos que realizó en esta época. El más conocido retrato de ella lo tituló: Presiona aquí para ver:"Flor de Amapola" . Ese mismo año de 1983 Miguel Conesa fue incluido desde entonces en Who’s Who in American Art ).

May 1975: The 1975 Bailey Student Art Award", $400.00 Award, / Second Augusta College Art Student Show, for the work; "Twenty Years of Loneliness / Veinte años de Soledad" (20"x 24"), Dated 1974 / 4 works by Conesa exibited among them: / se exhibieron cuatro obras de Conesa entre ellas "The Basket / La Canasta"

Abril 1976: "Best the Show Award", Third Annual Depot Art festival, $975 (US Dollars) Purchased Award for the work: "The Message / El Mensaje" Se le otorga el premio de lo Mejor de la Exhibición, premio de adquicisión de $975. (US Dollars) por su obra "El Mensaje" / (20"x24") oil, acrylic on canvas, dated 1975) The Message became part of the Mc Duffy Contry Art Museum permanent collection, Thomson, Georgia. / La obra El Mensaje es parte de la collección permanente del Museo Mc Duffy, en Thomson, Georgia, USA. / At this regional exhibit 20 works by Conesa were exhibited among them: 1. "Remorse / Remordimiento" ( 18" x 24") acrylic on paper, dated: Jun. 1975, / 2. "Self Portrait / Autorretrato" (18" x 24") acrylic, modeling paste on canvas, dated: Dec. 1974 / 3. Abril-May 1976: "The White Column Award", ($200. Award) Sponsored by The Agusta College Art Student Association, Augusta College; The work: "Tradition that never dies" (20" x 24", acrylic, modeling paste on canvas, dated: 1976) was shown for the first time at the Augusta Performing Theater. The work was painted specially for the "Benedictine Art Award, New York of 1976.

Nov. 1977: At 25- years old, wins "Second Prize", Exchange Club Regional Fair. The Augusta College Art faculty was the art show jury, held in Augusta, Ga. Nov. 1980: Third Place/ Tercer Premio / Sponsored by The Agusta College Art Student Association, Augusta College. (28-years old/ 28 años de edad)

Aug. 1983: "Stature of Victory Award", Centro Studi E Ruicerche Delle Nazioni, Terme, Italy; was Granted by the committee for the World Culture Prize for the Arts and science, headed by Prof. Nicolo Panepinto, in acknowlegement of cultural and professional zeal, for important contribution to the improvement of present day society. Conesa declined the award. (31-years old)

Aug. 1983: Is invited and included in the prestigious Who's Who in American Art ever since that time to the present / Es invitado e incluído en Who's Who in American Art desde entonces hasta el presente.

Nov. 1984: Certificate of Merit granted by Colegio Ponceño de Varones (Alma Mater) at Ponce, Puerto Rico, Nov. 15, 1984. 25 works by Conesa were exhibited for five days at the conference room during the Hispanic Culture Awarenesss Week, Ponce, Puerto Rico.

May 1985: Certificate of Merit granted by Departamento de Instrución Pública, for colaborating and encouraging young people to choose careers in the Visual Arts, held at the "Escuela de Artes Visuales Miguel Pou". The award was presented by the artist Jesús Ortiz.

May. 1985: Certificate of Merit granted by Colegio Ponceño de Varones (Alma Mater) for contributing to the Culture awarenesss week, Ponce, Puerto Rico, Nov. 15, 1984. 20 works by Conesa were exhibited for five days at the conference area.

Nov. 1997: Fondo Puertorriqueño para el financiamiento del Quehacer Cultural", $2,000. Merit Award / Premio de Merito / Sponsored by / Otorgado por "Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueño" (Institute of Puerto Rican Culture), San Juan, Nov. 5, 1997. (45- years old). / The first Ponce regional artist-painter ever to get such award / El primer artista-pintor de la región de Ponce en recibir este galardón.
