During the ski season we post snow conditions on this web site on a regular basis, so check on-line before you leave home to see what equipment to bring.
Being located on the eastern shore of Lake Huron, we get a lot of snow brought in by westerly winds (Highway 21, nearby, is the most closed road in winter in Southern Ontario, due to the abundant snow). When there are strong westerlies off the Lake, snow tends to drift in a small section of the trails beside the shore, but otherwise the trees protect the trails from most wind effects.
Thursday 8 March 2012: Warm temps on Tuesday and Wednesday put an end to skiing for this season. Alas, this has been the worst winter for skiing in a long time.
