The Salubri are a reclusive bloodline, since they are very unpopular
amongst the clans. Like the Kiasyd and Samedi, they are not a true Clan. There are only
seven Salubri at a time, for they only pass on their blood when they achieve Golcanda
(mastering the Beast Within) and end their existance. For a Salubri, vampiric existence is
agony, and this is only heightened by the knowledge that most Kindred percieve them as
murderers and diabolists. In fact, the Tremere clan actively hunts any known Salubri.
Ironic, since the unique Salubri discipline of Obeah focuses on the art of healing. Other
Salubri disciplines include Auspex and Fortitude.
The clan weakness is no laughing matter, however. A Salubri loses one health level for
every blood point she takes from a resisting victim. A Salubri must know that her target
is not resisting and is at peace to avoid taking damage.
