The Malkavians are the "crazy ones", blessed, or cursed, from the moment they are embraced with the Gift of Malkav (known to the rest of us as insanity). Malkavians feel that their "insanity" actually grants them insight few others can understand. While most clans squabble and play politics for survival or petty selfishness, the Malks play with others like the toys that they are. >:-)

Malkavians have one very obvious stigma - the insanity that marks the clan. Each Malk is different however. Some are far more sane than they seem, while others are not nearly so. The Malks are generally regarded as a source of amusement or ridicule by less-intelligent Kindred. The wise vampire recognizes the Malkavian tendancy to know far more than they let on.
