The Gangrel are the nomads of the Kindred. They rarely stay in one place for any great length of time and the clan has no established leaders. They, of all the Kindred, are the ones most in tune with Nature and their own Beasts. For this reason, many Gangrel find acceptance among the creatures of the wild, an advantage denied the other clans.

Because of this affinity with Nature, many Gangrel can freely interact with the Garou (werewolves), since the Gangrel do not bear the "taint of the Wyrm" that the Garou find so distasteful.

A clan advantage is that the nomadic Gangrel rarely bother to announce themselves to the Prince of a city, and few Princes attempt to enforce the laws of Presentation upon them. The clan disadvantage is that each Beast Trait marks a Gangrel physically, making them appear more animalistic.
