Merry Christmas Everyone!
Well another year has come and gone. I've done so many things in the last year. I participated in both Spring and Fall drama presentations at Brush High School. I portrayed Mrs. Lynch in "Anne Of Green Gables" during the Fall, and Portia in "While Shakespeare Slept" this past Spring. As always I was heavily involved in the Music Department. I played flute and piccolo in Brush High School Band as well as in the Platte Valley Community Band. I played the Piano in Jazz Band. I did have the opportunity to take CISCO Computer Networking my senior year at the local community college. I really enjoyed myself and learned a lot of rules and guidelines that have helped me along in College, however, I chose not to pursue it as a profession.
I became interested in DeVry, Phoenix around October of 1999 after the Colorado recruiter Greg Thomas spoke to my College English class. In March of 2000 I was awarded the Deans Scholarship for $9,000. In the summer of 2000, I made the long move from Brush, Colorado to Phoenix, Arizona to attend College. I am currently a second semester Computer Engineering student at DeVry. The classes move at a fast pace which generally keeps us interested.
I am presently working for U-HAUL International. I take incoming calls from all over the United States and Canada. Basically I get paid around fifteen dollars an hour to answer the phone and make reservations for people. I enjoy the job and the people I talk to for the most part. Every now and then a Jerk will call in and I'll tolerate them for as long as is humanly possible, then transfer them to customer service. There is quite a bit of down time, so I get to do most of my homework, which is kind of nice.
