Bickley - Great Punk band from Texas!
They just re-released there debut album "Pogo Au Go Go"
on Fearless records. Rubio (bass player for 30 Foot Fall) plays
in this band. Most of the songs sound the same but, That's ok.
They still rock my bullocks. You probably have heard this band on
the Punk Bites 2 compilation with there song "Calling All
Punks" I give them a (9) Buy this album G Dawg. "Bickley"
Down The Hatch From "Pogo
Au Go-Go" Apocalypse
Hoboken
- Oh my god! This band is fucking amazing, This is drunk punk at
its best?! All my friends hate this band to death. I don't know
why.. I love em. They have lots of shit out and everyone of there
albums is great. I haven't heard a song by these guys that I
haven't loved. If you don't like em at first, The lead vocals
that come out of Todd will drill through your brain until you
give in and fall in love with there unique sound. If Faith No
More were a fast punk band, they would be Apocalypse Hoboken. I
shit a (10) "Apocalypse Hoboken"
Brett From "Superincredibleheavy..."
Drain
Bramaged -
Likes to drink beer.... Almost everyone of there songs are about
the joy of drinking a cold one. There fast, loud and sound a
little bit like the Vandals but, not at all really. On there new
album "Happy Drunx" they a cover "Devil went down
to Georgia" and changed the song around to be about a
drinking match instead of a violin match. I hate the taste of
alcohol but I swear after listening to these guys I could drink a
whole six pack. I kick em a (8) "Drain
Bramaged" Devil Went Down To Georgia From "Happy
Drunx" Teen
Idols -
Don't really sound like something that would be playing in my cd
player but they found a nice little spot in my favorites box. I
saw these guys open up for Nofx and they were fucking great. They
play real fast aggressive good o' american pop punk. There on
Honest Dons Records (Fat Mikes other label) There S/T album was
produced by Ben Weasel, So you know it's going to be good. I pass
em a (8) "Teen Idols"
Porno Shop From "S/T"
Supergirls are on the same label as Donuts
N Glory, Which is Liberation Records. Speaking of Donuts N
Glory, Supergirls sound alot like em, they both have the weird
guitar solos and a lot of snare drums in use. The lead singers
voice in Supergirls is a bit weaker than the one of Donuts N
Glory but, Still kicks just ass much ass. I don't know shit about
this band so If any body knows any thing about Supergirls please
tell me. I give em a (9) Limp is pretty desent pop punk.
There on Honest Don's Records, "Same as Diesel Boy"
Limp is the guitarist from Screw 32's new band. I pretty sure
they only have one album out which is "Pop &
Disorderly" They keep a soft steady beat thats fun to listen
to. If you have a job and like spending money then I guess there
Cd is worth getting. They do a cover song of Holiday Road so
theres a reason to buy the album. (8) 30
Foot Fall
is Awesome, awesome, awesome! This band is amazing! There new
album "Acme-143" Is album of the fucking year! You need
to go out and buy this album right now. There the most popular
punk band is Texas. Fearless Records is the lable that there on.
Im almost speechless about these guys. Check them out for
yourselves. I give em a (10) "30 Foot
Fall" Bad Hair Day Punx From "Acme-143"
Schlong is
funny, insane, fast, very fast wierd Punk. You will never find a
band Punk band like this! There new album "Fish Booty"
is awesome and then some. They have a lot of banjo solos and
chimes. Schlong has exmembers of Operation Ivy in it too. It is
almost impossible to explain this band so your going to have to
find out for yourself. They did the whole West Side Story musical
and called in Punk Side story. They get a (9) "Schlong"
Kid Charlemagne From "Fish
Booty" Boris
The Spinkler
is real goofy pop punk that will tickel your fancy for sure.
There new Album is called "Mega Anal" F.Y.P are just flat out great! One of
my favorite bands. They have five full leanth albums and loads of
7" F.Y.P's new, well sorta new album is called "My Man
Grumpy" which is a alot different than there other stuff
"its alot more poppy than there normal shit but not too
poppy. Its kind of missing that garage snotty sound to it.
F.Y.P's lyrics are extreamly good if you can make out what there
saying. It kind of sounds like Nofx meets The Vandals but not at
all. I Hurl them a (10) "F.Y.P"
Smartest Schmuck On Earth From "Tolet
Bread Kid" Your Mother is fucking insane! There new album, "I
guess it's there new one" "One Big Inside Joke"
has 48 tracks of pure Goofy, Funny, Mad, Insane, Fast, Very fast,
Sick, Porno Punk Fucking Rock! The lyrics are smart too! With
song titels like Tung Bung, Anal Mucas and I Wanna Be a Girl you
cant go wrong. "Your Mother"
Color Me Badd Religion From "One
Big Inside Joke" DONUTS
N' GLORY kind of sounds like Propagandhi
in a way. There album is called "When Pregnasaurs Ruled The
Earth" It's a great album with great lyrics. The songs are
fast and melodic. There on Liberation Records. I give em a (10) "Donuts
N' Glory" Sirens From"When Pregnasaurs
Ruled The Earth" ASSORTED JELLYBEANS are a awesome Punk band on Kung Fu
Records,
which is owned by my favorite band the VANDALS. They have a twist
of a ska sound BUT , no horns or tubas "which is good"
They keep a steady fast beat with a lofof "pick it up"
& "ha ha ha" I would definitely recommend this
album as a should haver! They have One self titled album out
& a split 7" with the Vandals. I give them a (9). "Assorted
Jellybeans"In Our Eyes From "S/T"
NOFX is a Punk band that has been
around for years. They have made alot of great albums. The newest
album "So Long And Thanks For All The Shoes" is well
done. The lyrics on it are great but, don't sound like something
Fat Mike would conger up. (If there's any rare shit you're trying
to find by Nofx I have it!) & to all of you who think your
are real Nofx fans. "I'm a bigger one" Ha ha! BLINK-182 used to be one of my favorite bands, That was
till they lost there fucking minds and went on MTV. I don't want
to sound like a narrow person by saying that I hate all bands
that are on MTV but, I have to respect the band before the music
and its hard to give any respect to a punk band that plays to
promote "Alternative Music" "Blink
182" Romeo and Rebecca From "Cheshire
Cat" PROPAGANDHI is a awesome group with political crushing
lyrics. There a bit hard core and a bit poppy , bring em together
and you get PROPAGANDHI! They're on Fat Wreck Chords and have two albums out called
"How to clean everything" and "Less talk more
rock! If you have any respect for America you will hate this
band! I drop a (9) on them "Propagandhi"
Ska Sucks From "How
to Clean Everything" VANDALS are
by far one of the best Punk Bands out there. Their lyrics and
unique sound will blow you out of your gored! They formed in the
early 80"s and were huge then , They're not just a band
they're movie stars! They made appearances in the films Suburbia
and DUDES they also had a song on the X-files. The only remaining
original Vandal now is Joe Escalanta which "used" to
write most of the songs until the guitarist Warran took over ,
"Words do not describe Warren" They have a NEW album
called "Oi to the World '"which is a very very funny
album, You just might die without this record. If you haven't
seen "Vandals sweaten to the oldies VHS
you need to! I give em a (11) "Vandals"A Gun For X-Mas From "Oi
to the World" BOUNCING SOULS is a fine band from New Jersey.
They have a real fun and energetic sound to them. They have put
out two full length albums "The good the Bad and the
Argyle" & "Maniacal Laughter" both
fanfuckingtastic records! They're a real fun band to see live.
California bands eat your hearts out! I give them the big (9) "Bouncing
Souls" Here We Go From "Maniacal
Laughter" GOOBER PATROL is a Britt band that delivers
unclear snotty lyrics. You have to pay alot of attention to them
to make out the words. They're on Fat Wreck Chords "I don't know why"
They deserve to be on Epitaph.. I wouldn't recommend this album
un less your a pot smoking limie. I give them a (6) "Goober
Patrol" Easy Life From "Vacation".
GOB
is a good
group from Canada. They have some really cool sounds, I wish I
could say the same for the lyrics "They're kind of lame. They
don't seem to be very popular in the states, I don't know why.
I'm not sure what albums have been released in Canada. The only
record I know about is "Too Late No Friends" SWINDLE are bunch of young handsome Punks that give off
some powerful tunes. The lyrics are pretty good. They're on
Grilled Cheese records (the same as Blink 182) They have a full
length album titled "With in these Wall's" and 7"
called "In the Red" also a split 7" with
Blink-182. DRUNK IN PUBLIC just jumped in to the Punk
Music sceen with their debut album "Tapped Out!" Their
songs are kind of short but , they cram alot of fine sounds in a
short amount of time. They're on Fearless Records I throw a (8) at them. "Drunk
in Public" Just You And Me From "Tapped
Out!" The Automatics are Pop Punkers on
"Muntant Pop Records" They sound alot like the Queers
and MTX. They just had a S/T album come out. It's pretty good ,
songs are mostly 1:30 to 2:00 long "not long but hey"
They give a good Listening. There a good band but , Their album
isn't anything to spend your allowance on. I'm going to hand them
a (7). "Automatics" Hangin Out At E.J's From "S/T"
LATEX GENERATION has been around four to five
years and their new album "360*" is a really well done
record. It's fast Pop Punk that hits you in the gut! The lyrics
are a bit shitty but that's ok. I vomit up a (8). "Latex
Generation" Central America From "360*"
GUTTERMOUTH cranks out some Punk Fucking
Rock. They sound a little bit like "Nofx" but, still
capture their own unique sounds! They have a new album out called
"Musical Monkey" it rocks harder than Metallica! They
also have three other full length albums titled "Terie
Yackemoto" "Friendly People" & "The album
formlery known as Full" (I have the 9 bonus songs that were
on the Full length album before it went out of print , so ha ha
ha) I'll punt them a (9). "Guttermouth" Ghost From "Full
Length" A.F.I is fast Punk with a dash of Hard Core on Nirto Records Their new album titled
"Shut your mouth and open you eyes" is a fucking great
"Alot more hard core than there two earlyer albums"
Their 1st album is called "Answer That And Stay
Fashionable" I give That record almost as much credit as
their new one. I toss them a (9). "A.F.I"
Perfect Fit From "Very
Proud of Ya" JUGHEADS
REVENGE is
Angry, Mad, Pissed , Ticked Off Punk! They have been around for
years & hopefully years to come. They have a new album that
came out recently called "Image Is Everything" which is
on Nitro Records "What Happened To BYO Records Guys?"
They have four other full length albums titled "13 Kiddie
Favorites", "It's Lonely At The Bottom",
"Unstuck In Time" & "Elimination" all
fine records! I flick a (8) at them! ! "Jugheads
Revenge" 49/61 From "13 Kiddie
Favorites" STRUNG
OUTJust a
skate band on Fat wreck, Nothing to see here. (6) "Strung

LAW is a
PoP Punk band with some actual talent. There sound is fast hard
hitting knock the breath out of ya Punk Rock! They have a fairly
