ROSE McGOWAN is Tatum Riley, Sidney Prescott's chatty bestfriend and confidante who seems to have an answer for everything. Could she be the killer... or is she the next victim?

McGowan first came to the public's attention in Gregg Araki's dark and stylish road movie "Doom Generation," costarring Johnathon Schaech. The film earned her a nomination for Best Debut Performance at the 1996 Independent Spirit Awards.

McGowan has since appeared in numerous independent films. Among her credits are "Encino Man," "Lewis & Clark & George," and "Bio-Dome." She has also completed roles in Gregg Araki's "Nowhere," and "Going All the Way," costarring Ben Affleck.

Prior to making films, McGowan grew up in Europe and moved to the United States at the age of ten.
