It was formed by Boyan Raichev and Viktor Dimitrov. In the beginning(the spring of 1998) Bobby Raichev joined “Ulitsa Praskova”(Peach street),in which Viktor Dimitrov was playing the guitar for a couple of years.Soon after Bobby Raichev joined the band,it fell apart and it was the beginning of a new era of the musical life in Bulgaria- "Letyashtite Kravi"(it means Flying Cows) was born…Now it consists of three members:
We cover some blues classics as "Hoochie Koochie Man","Texas Flood","Help Me" and so on,and we also play our own material.
The aim of the group for this year is the appearance on the Blues Festival in Burgas. We intend to release our debute album until the end of 1999.
Check this website regularly to get informed about the expected appearances of The Flying Cows.
Boyan Raichev-This excellent bass player made his first appearance on a concert of his school (ACS),where he performed the national anthem of Bulgaria (have you heard Jimi Hendrix playing "Star Spangled Banner"?).People could sit still for hours to listen how he sits and cries and sings the blues, and his unique stile of playing the blues harp, while Viktor Dimitrov gets cordial blues sounds out of his acoustic guitar.
