Originally created in response to the narrow range of programming choices on the Denver radio dial, the Denver Radio Coalition has been dedicated to creating access to a public forum for free speech and free advertising. Our goal is to create a new FM radio station serving non-profit organizations, religious groups, political perspectives, and alternative entertainment.
Denver Radio Coalition has been instrumental in a national push to create Low-Power FM radio service. Through our lobbying efforts, teamed with other groups across the country, the FCC has passed legislation for this type of FM Radio service. Once licensing becomes available this spring, the Denver Radio Coalition will attempt to create a new community station for Denver.
