Welcome to our wedding page!! Thanks so much for being a part of our special day! On this page, you will find information about the location of the Wedding & Reception and Maps & Directions to make it easier to get around. You will also be able to find information on local accomodations and our gift registries.
THE CEREMONY
Our Wedding Ceremony will be Held at the First Unitarian Society of Schenectady at 11:00 AM. It will be officiated by Reverend Richard Scheu of Troy, and will honor both Jewish and Christian Traditions.
Guests are asked to arrive for a prompt beginning at 11:00.

THE RECEPTION
Our reception will be held that the Edison Club in Rexford, NY. A very quick drive from the Church!
The following is the most direct route to the Reception. The drive should take about 15 minutes.
1.) Turn LEFT out of the church parking lot onto Wendell Avenue. Take Wendell to Nott Street (there will be a light)
2.)Take a RIGHT onto Nott Street. When you see Ellis Hospital , there will be a "fork" with ROSA ROAD. Bear RIGHT to stay on Nott Street. Continue STRAIGHT on Nott Street until the intersection with NY 146 (Balltown Road).
3.) Take a LEFT onto Route 146 (Balltown Road). Continue on Rt. 146 to the Rexford Bridge. Go over the bridge, and Riverview Road will be the 1st RIGHT at the 1st light. Continue on Riverview Road until you see the Edison Club. The Edison Club is on the Left
ACOMMODATIONS
Below are a list of links to local accomodations. Please be advised that this is also a graduation weekend for Union College, and possibly others in the area so it may be necessary to procure a room just outside Schenectady.
ALBANY CROWNE PLAZA This 4 Star Hotel is in the heart of Downtown Albany, just a 30 minute drive from the ceremony location! We Have 15 Rooms Held for the convenience of our out of town guests. You can Reserve your rooms under the "GILSON/PIERCEY WEDDING". These rooms need to be reserved to be garanteed the group rate ($99/night).
CLARION HOTELS This Newly Remodeled Hotel is also located very conveniently to the ceremony and reception.
COMFORT INN AIRPORT & Conference Center This hotel, conveniently located to the Albany Airport has also been remodeled in the Art Deco Style, I hear that it is lovely.
DAYS INN SCHENECTADY This is a conveniently located budget hotel close to the ceremony and reception.
DAYS INN ALBANY This is another budget hotel that is convenient to the reception and the ceremony. It might be easier to book, being that this is just outside Schenectady.

THE REHEARSAL
The wedding rehearsal will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 15 at the Church.
All parties attending the rehearsal are asked to arrive at the church at 5:45 for a PROMPT beginning at 6:00
The rehearsal dinner will be held at Petta's Restaurant immediately following the Rehearsal.
Directions will be included with formal rehearsal dinner invitation.
