In the warmth of the love burning bright in your eyes,
I feel sweet repose and fulfillment.
In the words of love coming deep from your heart,
To heaven my soul is sent.
In the heat of the passion falling sweet from your lips,
I feel awakened and alive.
In the tenderness of touch reaching from your sweet hand,
I feel safety,
My soul can thrive.
Even in the dead of a cold winter's night,
I feel warmth when with you I lay,
When the warmth of the sun is too hard to fight,
You're the shade on that hot summer's day.
Your kiss quenches the thirst of a thousand deserts,
And your glance is the sun's sweet ray.
With you my soul is content to be,
With you it longs to stay.
I close my eyes and bask in the light,
And in an embrace your arms enfold me.
When I am not in your arms at night,
I long for your arms to hold me.
And as I begin to drift to sleep,
I dream of a special place
Where we can run in the waves of the ocean,
Where we run in the open space.
I dream of the days where we can rest together
And sun ourselves on the sand,
Where we can walk along the beaches,
Arm in arm,
Hand in hand
When I awaken from the dream
The world rings out so clearly,
