DEANNA: You have been my Best Friend since we could walk. We're Best Friends for LIFE, CHICA! I am so proud of all you've accomplished in spite of all the hardships life has thrown you. There is so much I want to say, I don't even know where to begin! I think I will just say that only one day a year is definitely not enough to celebrate our friendship! Manicotti during a deluge of hail is always a great excuse for a sleepover! Yes...COURTANY can come out and play! Two words...TWISTED SISTER!!!(then again..maybe not) Those black eyes were all in good fun, I know the Cabbage Patch Kid didn't mean it (Sh'yah, Right)! This is not even the tip of the iceberg, but it's a start...
JASON: Maneating ravioli, or those of the Lacto-vegetarian persuasion? Man, have we been a case or two in our lifetimes! I will always treasure Prom (*eeeeeeeeeeeewwwwww*, I know) and those stupid-assed Moon Pies!!! They're good for you, ya' know! ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES and a steady diet of Star Trek will make OMAR a very happy camper. Thanks for putting up with me during that dark period of Overbearing and Pretentiousness...(I deserved that). I am glad we can laugh about it now!!! WOW, another case where there is too much to say...I think I have said enough(maybe too much!).
COLLEEN: What can I say, 'cept thanks, man. I am honored to have pedged with you so very long ago. You are one of those rare people who knows me almost better than I know myself!!! I am truly grateful that you have put up with my bellyachin' for so long, and never once yet turned your back on me. I wish I could have been the same to you all the time. I am glad I can be that way now! Here's to Honey Brown on a warm spring day on my front porch. Hail hail hail to the almighty PURPLESAURUS REX! Four Words... NOUS SOMMES LES MONKEES! The Shades rule forever...even if I did get stuck with the evil side!*grin* MUSTARD AND COKE ON THE HAM????!!!!(Try it sometime...really yummy!!!)You are one of the best friends one could ask for. THE ROADTRIP OF THE CENTURY WILL LIVE IN INFAMY!!! WE CAME, WE SAW, WE CONQUERED THE FLYING SOMBREROS (well...got photos of them at least)!!! I am also glad that we became roomies! Boston has been a little more fun with a friend to share it with!! Too much CHIIIIIZ is never good for anyone!! *laughs*
LUCY: Another PEDGE! You are the bestest friend anyone can have. Always treasure the "ER Night" ritual of Stuffed Crust Pepperoni Pizza and Clooney!!! Man in Tux will forever be in the closet (no matter what you may try and tell others to the contrary!!!) You have come such a long way sine your shy "ringmaster" days...I am so proud of your accomplishments. All you have to do is have faith in yourself....we all have faith in you! Thanks for being such a great friend, even when you are going through the hardest times in your life, you are there for people. A true blue friend.
CHARLENE: MY ROOMIE!!! How glad am I that we got to be friends?!?! Chats that last forever about the trials and tribulations of the sisterhood, and of life in general. If there is anyone in this world who deserves to have happiness come into her life, it is definitley you!!! I am thrilled that you have found your niche in life and that you are living for YOU!!! *hugs* you're the best! Stay exactly the way you are, and don't compromise yourself for anyone again...you have found someone that will not let you do that....KEEP HIM!!! I would not have missed your wedding for anything in the world...not even my Masters graduation...I love ya', sis!!! I am so proud of the person you have become, babe!!! Know that through the rough times that there is always someone on the other end of the line who cares about you and will listen to anything and everything you need to get off your chest.
ERIN: My daughter! I knoew from the first that we would become great friends. I did not know how close. I am honoured to have been (to be) your mom...You are the kind of daughter every mom wishes for! I have seen you grow in leaps and bounds in the years that I have known you (wow...going on 7!). You have grown in life and in love. You are lucky to have such a wonderful man to call your husband...and he is equally as lucky to be priveledged to call you "wife". I wish you each and every happiness in the world.
KAREN: THE BELLS....THE BELLS...THE BELLS!!! You are such a dear, dear friend! I will always remember the late night talks we'd have in your room about the "five step plan" and nonsense. Grad weekend ROCKED...We need to have more of those...*SMILE* one word...ROADTRIP!!! Pedro says...TOO MUCH TEQUILA!!! You are such a true friend to have helped out in such a difficult time (and without hesitation) taking me to the airport in NC...OUT OF YOUR WAY...you are one of the strongest women I know...stay strong and true to yourself, Karen...it will take you far...As you get married in July, 2000, I hope that life gives you and Alec each and every shining joy. I am looking so forward to celebrating your wedding with you and for you to celebrate mine with me next year!!
JANA: The other ROOMIE!!! You tought (and continue to teach) me the art of understanding people and respecting who and what they are. You are a great chica and a crazy PAGAN!!! (That's what I love most about you!!!) You are just the most carefree girl, and I always envied that in you. NEVER LOSE THAT PART OF YOU, MAN! I also hope that you and your husband pass that wonderful spark onto your little daughter, and bring her up with love and tolerance.
JIM: No matter what happens in life, you will always be one of my dearest friends. The memories I have with you will be with me forever, and they're good ones!
