This page is all about my family. After you read it, you may gain insight about why I am the way I am!!!
I come from a family of five (including me):
My sister, Jennie came first. She is a cool chica who owns a cafe called "The Living Room" in New York City. GO VISIT WHEN YOU GO DOWN TO THE CITY!!!! It's on the corner of Allen and Stanton strets (take the F train to Second Avenue go out the Allen Street and Houston Street side of the station and go to the end of the block...cross the street and you're there!!). She and I have a great friendship and we have a lot of fun together. I look up to her a great deal...always have. She makes me proud to be her sister. She loves me even though I can be a real stupid idiot sometimes (HEY, MAN...TEN-Q)!!! She used to be a ballet dancer (and a great one at that), but I think that she has found her true niche with the cafe. SHE RULES!
Then Comes me. OOOH THE MIDDLE CHILD! (Don't you know all those things they say about us middle children are true!!!!*BWAHAHAHA*)
My baby brother Jacques (yes that is his REAL name)is the last of the kids. He is a figure skater with immense potential! Right now he is skating at the Junior level in USFSA. He has been to Junior Olympics for pairs and has made it to sectionals (Easterns) many times for both pairs and singles. He wants to go to the Olympics in 2002, and I think that he will go all the way!!!! Not only is he a phenom on the ice, he keeps a very high Scholastic average as well. He wants to go to college after High School is finished...ALL YOU RECRUITERS OUT THERE....HERE'S A GREAT ONE!
My Mom is a great lady. She went to the College of Saint Rose in Albany and majored in Sociology. She is very intelligent and just all around COOL! I consider her a friend as well as my mom. We talk about anything, she is always the first person I call when something good or bad happens. We also have a lot in common! We watch the same soap opera (DAYS OF OUR LIVES), and enjoy a lot of the same things...Porcelain dolls, antiques, "brown" films, cooking shows (to name a few). I really think that she is a very strong woman, and I admire that strength a great deal. She is such a trooper to have trucked all of us kids around (and still does for Jacques) to classs and rehearsals and performances and competitions...Thanks, Mom!
My Dad is cool too. He went to SUNY Albany and majored in English. He works as a Sales Rep for a candy distributor...He is awesome at what he does and has even won a nifty award that named him the top salesman for the company! He's even beating his record this year...*YAY*. GO DAD!! He tought me the three states of matter when I was really little (a great parlor trick for a three year old), tought me the value of trust (when I would jump into his arms in the deep end of the pool at the camping ground we used to go to), and gave me part of my wacky sense of humor. He used to call me the "little princess" FEED THAT DIVA ATTITUDE AT AN EARLY AGE!!! Thanks, Dad!
Our parents have offered an overwhelming amount of support in everything we do. Even when other parents would say something like"opera...where's the money in that? You'll never make it! Why not try something like accounting (a degree you can use)?!" They have always said "If you are happy, and doing something honest, we will support you entirely."
I feel very fortunate to have such a great familia...even though there are plenty of times when we drive each other BATTY, we still have a great time together.
