COMPREHENSIVE THEORY COURSES

Full-time commercial pilot theory courses are conducted continuously throughout the year. Our Ground School is recognised as the best in Australia and we achieve excellent pass rates. We liaise closely with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority to guarantee all aspects of the training syllabus are covered without compromise.

Important:- We take the business of ground theory very seriously. Our theory courses have been carefully designed to take students with no previous aviation experience, from the basics through to Commercial Pilot examination standard. We are well aware that most of those commencing theory courses may have been away from school and study for many years, so whilst our courses are very comprehensive, we also try to be as practical as possible.

There is no "easy" way to study your theory subjects. We do not encourage home study or correspondence as these study methods are incomplete and can take excessive time, resulting in frustration and disappointment.

The main problem with self study is the simple fact that there are NO good textbooks that completely cover the helicopter theory syllabus. To avoid using outdated and incomplete Helicopter textbooks, Chopperline has expended considerable effort producing our own course notes, which are constantly updated to meet all current theory requirements, as well as introducing as much practical background information as possible.

Proper Ground School courses represent excellent value in the long term. Good understanding will help make you a better pilot, minimising expensive delays and repetition in your flying training program.

If you train with us we offer that you may resit the ground school at any time until you are entirely confident before sitting the exam. As an integrated school you can decide to start some of your flying training early in your course to enable you to experience the aspects that you are being taught in ground school earlier. If you encounter any difficulties along the way, you are welcome to resit any part of the theory course.
