MY 1988 XJ PIONEER
My first Cherokee was a 1988 pioneer. That pioneer model won PETERSON'S prestgious 4X4 of the year award in 1988. It has 2 Rancho RS 9000 shocks on the front and 2 Monroe Air shocks in the back. The 30x9.50BFG A/Ts give it a bit more lift. The Kc daylighters light the way, and theOLYMPIC rock slide bumpers give it that certain look. On the inside it is equipped with a CLARION sound system. All clarion speakers, a clarion cd player and another clarion tape player. It has aUNIDEN CB and a uniden scanner. The scanner and the WHISTLER radar detector have saved my butt many of times!
MY 1998 XJ CLASSIC
I also own a 1998 cherokee classic. It is fully loaded including: The up-country suspension package, and the trac-lock differential option. I replaced the old factory tape and cd player with a KENWOOD KDC Ps5009 cd player, and I added INFINITY KAPPA speakers which replace the old factory speakers. It also comes with another uniden scanner and another whistler radar detector. Mopar fog lights light my way. My 1998 cherokee classic is not a offroad machine like my 88 but i plan to makes some changes on it including:
My mom's 99 Sahara
We just acquired this jeep in April. It's fully loaded with no modifications to it yet. (yet being the key word here) I've only been able to make a few changes to it, that is putting my old cd/tape deck it it,putting some strap handles on the side bars and putting a tailgate organizer in the back all supplied by PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS It will be interesting to see what my mom will let me do to it.
I don't think i'll own anything but a jeep! I guess the way i feel towards my jeeps, go along with the saying,
