Come share a little time with my friends and I. On my pages you will learn more about me, things I enjoy, my family and friends. You will also find some links to some very serious topics. I hope you will take the time to look at them and think about them.

As you know I am Barbara, but some of my friends call me Bobbi. I started chatting in March 1997. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new places.

I lived in Avenal, California, but on June 21, 1999 we, (Damian, Kelly & I) moved to Eureka. It was beautiful there..lots of redwood trees, near the beach, with many wonderful things to see. It's about 100 miles from the Oregon border. We were living in an old converted Victorian home and loved it. I am now remarried to Damian, he's from Australia. We met on the internet January 26, 1998. We met for the first time on October 27, 1998 and were married on November 13, 1998. Take a look at our Wedding Album, it's full of pictures.

Unfortunetly Damian had to return to Australia on June 25 1999 & was to be gone only 4 months. He finally returned to the states January 28, 2001 to help me pack my belongings. On March 5, 2001 we flew to Australia. to make our home. Kelly, unfortunetely, chose to stay in California. We bought a house in southeast Australia, in New South Wales. We began painting, adding carpets, more kitchen cabinets, decorating, planting gardens etc. The house is over 70 years old (used to be the convent) and it needed a lot of work. But once it was done, it was wonderful smile and well worth it.

Well a bit over a year later we we're still in the process of getting stuff done around the house. New carpets are in, most the rooms have been painted & 98% of the outside of the house has been painted. We managed to add tiles to our fireplace, doors where they needed, have planted several flower gardens, made curtains, pillows and have done a lot of decorating with stencils throughout the house. Though it looked so much better than when we bought the place, there was still more to be done.

On March 21, 2002 Damian and I became grandparents. Kelly is now the proud mommy of Alixander. He was 23 inches long & weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces. You can go to Kelly's website to read more about Alixander. We couldn't wait to actually see him and hold him, but sad to say that was going to take awhile. By the time we finally got to see Alixander, we had a second grandchild, Wesley. A little over a year later we had a granddaughter, Ellie. Now here it is 2010 and Kelly & Josh have two more boys, Nate and Jon. Kelly & Josh got married on April 8, 2003 and yet again we weren't able to attend the wedding pouts .

I did work as a secretary at a Sheriff's Office and I enjoyed it. After seven months of job hunting, I finally got a job with the District Attorney's Office. I had been working temporary jobs. One was working at a hospital typing their policies & procedures for eight hours a day. In Australia I was unemployed for almost two years, but then start working as a secretary at a job placement company.

We moved back to California in 2006 and bought a new house in the High Desert (Victorville area). We are both working and for the most part it seems like that's all we do now. Getting older, always tired and have become homebodies it seems. I have a 29 year old daughter named Kelly. She graduated from high school with a 3.8 GPA (proud mama smile) and planned to go to college, but went to work for a local hospital instead. In October 2001 she decided to move to Florida with her boyfriend, Josh. Kelly now stays home with the five kids and the oldest three are now in school.

I enjoyed playing tennis, volleyball and bowling. I write poetry, do calligraphy, read, do jigsaw puzzles and listen to all kinds of music. What I listen to depends on my mood at the time. Pretty much now all I do is watch tv, do jigsaw puzzles, sleep and work.

--Till we meet again and remember--
--even though we are apart--
--we are together--
