Patrons fight through actions. Excluding typos and including full names of the one you are attacking or addressing. (No popups but you can cut, copy, and paste the name). (Quests: Can be in any channel arranged by a DM.)

After you know the basics of what you can and can not do.. learn how to do what you can do.

Lets move along...

An action describing an attack must present the whos, whats, and wheres.

TyranKnight draws his long sword, practically ripping it from its scabbard while advancing towards Angelique...

TyranKnight slashes his sword through the air at Angelique slashing her neck...

Your action doesn't have to be in that much detail, but the more detail the more interesting it is. In the action, TyranKnight names his opponent in full, drew his sword which means an attack is being made and advanced towards Angelique, the person he is attacking. Now Angelique has a moment to respond. That first action would not be considered the first action in your attack or count against the person. Initial attack action is drawing a wepon or some type of hostility towards youre oppoent. Afterwards, you can play a physical contat action like cuts arm, or slashes ckeek. If you declair the action with another action right after without a counter action from your opponent, the strike is valid. (Watches you bleed, watches you fall etc. a maneuvere action then a contact action) If Angelique were a visitor one more action against her before a reaction or counteraction would kill her.

Angelique jumps from her seat and draws her weapon leaping away from TyransKnight as he misses her...

Angelique had enough time to respond to the attack by standing and drawing her weapon and getting out of the way so he missed cutting her. Now she is at full attention and ready to fight... which clears the lines against her. She now has two lines of defense back because she responded and is alert and ready. Angelique could have preformed any action she wanted, but she needed a quick one to recover her defense. If TyranKnight where to have attacked her before she rose and drew her sword and moved, she would have died. That is if.. TyranKnight preformed a lethal action.

TyranKnighthes watches Angelique bleed to death..

Angelique would be dead if she had not responded. Now the fight begins.

Attack Action - This is your fist action. Letting your opponent know what is happening. This action is only presenting the fight and does not count against your opponent. This is used to serve a fair fight for everyone. This doesn't mean your opponent can get away any faster. You can type your...

Conflicting Action - This action explains your attack. What you are doing to your opponent.

Confirming action - The completion of your round with a strike being valid against your opponent before there is time to respond to the attack action would either kill him/her or wonding him/her.

If the above attack were being placed on a visitor, who has two attack lines the visitor would be confirmed dead. So on and so forth for Three, Four, and Five lines.
