After the NPPL WorldCup in 1999, we had the opportunity to becomae a Dye Precision factory sponsored team. Now anyone who knows anything about the sport, knows that Dye products have a history of being durable, they work great, and you can get Dye stuff for just about any gun out there. Lets just say, it didnt take long for us to make our decision. For the 2000 NPPL series we would be a Dye factory team.

On the dawn of Fury's first full pro season, at the Los Angeles NPPL tournament, Fury set out with the full intention to make it to the semi finals. Having practiced the fields only a few weeks before the tournament, against Avalanche and Bobby's Ironmen with Fury wining several, it seemed that Fury intended on letting nothing stand in their way. After dropping two games it didnt look good, but all but a few of the pro team had done the same thing wich made it possible. On the second day dropping one game and having a close call with the family, it all came down to the last game. Image as everyone knows is no push over and Fury new from the start that this game was going to determine if the next day would be spent playing, or rembering small things that should have never happened. After hanging the flag on Image, Fury was almost certain that Sunday they would be playing. But moments after the game, the scoreboard showed that four points had held them from a tie for the last of the semi final positions.

After the L.A. NPPL, we were given another sponsorhip changing opportunity, JT. Many people know that JT and DYE seem to go hand in hand as far as sponsorship. So when Scottie came to the team with this opportunity and what it held for the team, everyone agreed that JT would be our newest sponsor.
