True Love

My love is strong my love is true,

It lasts as long as a lifetime or two.

My love is so much like a rose,

In how that it comforts and how that it grows.

My love is so much like a river,

In how that it makes your heart quiver [shiver].

It winds and it turns and it moves all about,

It’s loud and it’s clear and it’s pure and it’s stout.

My love for you multiplies by each day

I thank God that you showed me the way.
