Now Playing: Daphne
The date of our first meeting will be Teusday, September 20th. This meeting is MANDATORY for all those wishing to participate in the South Waksman program, since we'll begin with an important introductory lesson right away. Waksman club will meet every Tuesday thereafter. With your enthusiastic participation, this year's project will be a BLAST! (no pun intended)
Quick Science Fact: A woman proudly wearing a pearl necklace is actually displaying an entombed parasitic worm, not a coated grain of sand. The free, spherical pearl is produced when the larvae from a parasitic flatworm, which comes from seabirds, burrows inside the oyster.
