Yum Yum Yum...
I was downstairs watching "Coming to America" and eating some delicious bite-sized snackfood when I realized just how much I luuuuv bite-sized snackfood. In fact, I love it sooo much, I compiled a list of my favorites.
This list contains my fav. on-the-go snacks. These are things you can stick in your pocket and munch on all day. They're small enough that you can pop 'em in your mouth in class and not worry about pesky teachers asking you what you're eating. OK, here goes...
*Munchies on-the-go*
1) Nuts. I heart nuts. Pistachios, cashews and honey-roasted peanuts are among my favorites. I like that most nuts have shells so that you can put them in your pocket and you don't get lint all over them. It's always a bummer when you've got fuzz stuck to a yummy.
2) Sunflower seeds. I think, technically, these are not nuts because they are seeds, you see. But they are tasty either way. Although they're messy with the shells, I prefer not to buy them shell-less for two reasons:
reason one: I like the challenge of digging the seed out with my tongue.
reason two: The shells are salty and I like to suck on them until they become tasteless.
3) Hershey's Kisses. -Especially the dark chocolate kind. I prefer bitter-sweet chocolate to milk-chocolate, just in case you were planning on buying me an enormous box of chocolate for VDAY. Anyways, I like them because they're individually wrapped and they're chocolate! -And also because it is hella fun to ask people, "hey, man, you wanna kiss?"
4) M&M's. I like the almond, peanut and original kind. Not crunchy and not Dulce De Leche. The black and white ones are alright by me, although I miss the colors, Duke.
5) Trail Mix. A glorious mixture of my favorite on-the-go snackfoods. M&M's, nuts, granola. I luuuv trailmix. That tropical kind, in particular. I know I'm a loser. I also like the Chex Mix and Gardettos. Especially the rye bread and the breadsticks. Delicioso.
6) Cereal. Best snackfood to take to school. Especially Cpt. Crunch! I luuuv all varaitions of Cpt. Crunch, which is very rare for me. Also good to take to school in a bag are Apple-Jacks. They don't taste like apple, but I luv 'em anyway.
7) Crasins. Some people don't like 'em because they say they get sticky, but I think food is more fun when it's on your hands. -Well, no, I don't really, but I am crazy for Crasins. For those of you who don't know, Crasins are dried cranberries soaked in juice. Very tasty.
8) Pop-Tarts. These are best eaten in class when they're broken into pieces. I am, however, very particular about the flavor of Pop-Tarts that I eat. No cinnamon! The cinnamon filling is too sugary and not cinnamon-y enough. It's crap! I like the chocolate kind and the strawberry with sprinkles on top. I am very upset that Pop-Tarts, a beloved breakfast food of American teenagers, has no gay little mascot. Frosted Flakes-Tony the Tiger (they're grrrreat). Captain Crunch-The Captain(crunchatize me, Captain!). Even Honeycomb has that creepy little hairball to sell their shit! For fucks sake, Pop-Tarts need a mascot!
I was going to post my top ten favs, but I gots to go down to Agora Prkwy. and shop around a bit in Best Buy and pick ups some VDAY gifts, homes, so I'll write 'em laters. Peace n' Love and extra AMORE on this, our Nation's Day O' Love.
