nycr, like so many bands of this type, has bitten the dust. megan really doesn't care anymore, and courtney never really cared to begin with. i'm sick of frontin' with this stupid site and trying to sound all self righteous and say shit like "and when we get famous." we're not going anywhere. my bandmates knew it, and now i do too. so sorry if you enjoyed watching this train wreck, but the engines have collided and the fire men are on their way. so ends The New York City Rats...

For those of you that happen to be interested, megan's working with nicole and some other people on a garage band named polly pristine and the better halves. at least, that's what they were called last time i checked. and i am developing a side project with my friend kayla. we don't have a name yet.
