ACC vs. SEC

Ok, so like I said... when I was in Athens to watch the ISU/uga game, someone said while trying to explain why the SEC deserved to send seven teams to the NCAA Tournament that the SEC was the only conference to have a winning record against the number one conference, the ACC, at 6-3 (that was a long sentence).  I looked at all the games between the ACC and SEC this season, and my assumption was true.  I figured that to get a 6-3 record against the ACC, the SEC's better teams must have played the ACC's worst teams, and this held to be true.
Two of the SEC's six wins against the ACC came against Clemson, who finished dead last in the conference.  The third SEC win occurred when Florida beat Florida State at home, a feat which the entire ACC (including Clemson) accomplished this season.  In fact, FSU only won two games on the road this year, both coming outside of ACC play.
The fourth win for the SEC came when Georgia Tech traveled to Athens to take on the BulldAWgs.  Forget the fact that I go to Georgia Tech for a moment if you can, because there WERE newspaper articles written about the terrible officiating in this game...  Total fouls: GT - 28, uga - 17.  The worst part is this... In the second half and the two overtimes combined, the foul count was GT - 21, uga - 10!  Georgia Tech wasn't even in the double bonus until double overtime!  Georgia Tech had two players foul out and three with four fouls.  Georgia, on the other hand, had only one player with four fouls.  Anyways, officiating aside (I hate Teddy Valentine!), this was one of the SEC's three quality wins against the ACC.  Another was the victory by South Carolina over NC State, which was also at home.  The third was Kentucky over North Carolina in Kentucky.
In the nine games this year between the two conferences, six of them took place at the SEC team's home and one was on a neutral floor.  The only road win the SEC had against the ACC was South Carolina (an NCAA Tournament team) at Clemson (a bad team).
Anyways, I just got really bored and wrote this.  The SEC was still probably the second best conference in the country this year, due to the down year the Big 12 had.  I just had to see who the SEC actually beat from the ACC, and I felt like sharing it with whoever is still reading this...

I have no life...
