2. Go to the Math Center and get one of the pre-cut strips of paper to make your number line.
3. going from left to right, and spacing evenly, write the following numbers on your strip:
-20 -19 -18 -17 -16 -15 -14 -13 -12 -11 -10 -9 -8 -7 -6 -5 -4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
4. Go to the art center and get the clear, wide tape.
5. secure the strip to the top edge of your desk.

simplify exponents E-exponents
simplify parentheses P-parentheses
multiply left to right M-multiply
divide left to right D-divide
add left to right A-add
subtract left to right S-subtract
3. Go to the art center and get crayons/markers/colored pencils, construction paper, etc....the materials needed to make a poster.
4. Create a poster that outlines each step of the order of operations.

make predictions based on hypothesis and observations
Experiment to test the hypothesis and predictions
