Prelude

It all begun when ex-marnie Lieutenant Billy Coen, convicted of the mass murder of an entire African village didn't arrive at his desnation with the two mps as schedule. The top brass of our military tried contacting S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team who were in the area about the situation but it was a dead link. It was assumed that Coen killed the mps and went on the run.

We got our orders just last night.That we would be going into the Raccoon city forest to locate and bring the fellon, Billy Coen in to serve out his sentence. Our team is the top elite of the military we're called J.E.T.S. (Junior Elite Tracker Squad). Which is nothing but a team that hunts down fellons and goes into unknown dangerous situations. Nothing could have prepared us for the nightmare that lied ahead...

We didn't know it at the time but the "Mansion Incident" was well underway when we arrived on scene in the chopper. There were five other members in J.E.T.S. not including myself, Colonel Micahel Sliver the leader of J.E.T.S. "Lieutenant Phillips stay with the 'copter." I said and steped out into the forest.

Lt. Tyler Phillips was our pilot. He was a real down to earth guy and had a talent for keeping his cool in dangerous situations, i remember one time we were ordered to intervern in a civil war off the coast of Cuba and Tyler never once blinked as gun fire was hiting the 'copter. "Ok. I want everyone to keep their guard up,that scum could still be out here. "I cautioned them. "Everyone survey the area."

The forest was covered in fog so that was making our job alot tuffer not to mention gave me a werid feeling.I felt like we were being wacthed but by whom? And why? That's when i heard Lt.Kevin Aguayo, our little humorous Mechanic call me over to the wrecked S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team chopper. "Colonel, its S.T.A.R.S. Bravo pilot Kevin Dooley." Kevin reported.

We all looked down at the body it had teeth marks that looked to be animal but no animal living in Raccoon could have done that. It was bizarre and with the recent murders in the urban center it was no wonder S.T.A.R.S. had been called in on the series of cases. Sgt. Jackie Lee the female radio officer put her hand on my shoulder. She kneeled down and scouped up the blood from the Bravo body.

"Poor bastard.."She whispered. Captain Patrick Williams and Lieutenant Kim Heart the team computer specialist and medic were exmaining the surronding area.They found the mps dead and the mp wagon over turned with the same bite marks in their necks. I peered over the document for transportation of Coen. He looked like your average marine but there was something about him that seemed different.

*Beep* *Beep*

It was my Radio I listened. "This is Brad S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team...Bravo Team...it dosen't matter."the guy on the other end said. "Everyone Spilit into teams of two and search the Mountains." I ordered. I searched more of the forest..in the distances i could see up on a hill the Arklay Inn it was a nice little hotel.

Then ten minutes later i heard gunshots from a Magnum Revolver and i ran toward the sound. I returned to our chopper to find Tyler gone nothing but blood remained in the cockpit. I thought he was abducted by Coen and then i saw him behind me. I signed but i relazied that Tyler had become a zombie and was moving towards me. I unhostled my Glock Handgun and gave Tyler a warning to back off but it was of no use. I started shoting and after he was down i peered over his body and cried.

"What the hell...is happening?" I said. "People let's regroup!!"I order but my team was missing. I unhooked my radio. "J.E.T.S. please responde..." I spoke into the radio. "Kevin here." "Where are you?" I asked.

"Arklay Inn...Dead people...don't know the meaning of death in these woods." Kevin said, he was scared and nervous.

"Anyone wih you?"I asked him and hoped he would say yes. "Yeah...He..art is."Kevin was nervous i knew it was because of Kim's attractiveness, he got shy around girls. "Hold your position. Over & Out." I told Kevin and started towards the Inn. Next time i would keep the team together.When i steped into Arklay Inn the door to safety was shut.
