Yu-Gi-Oh is a story of a boy Yugi who is a freshmen at highschool. Yugi lives with his grandfather who owns a game shop. Yugi's garndfather gives him the millenium puzzle and dares Yugi to solve it. Once he does he is instilled with powerful magic that creates his alter ego Yami Yugi. Together with his best friends Joey, Tristan, T(e)a and Baukra they battle on to defend the world form the return of the shadow games like the Paraoah did five thousand years ago.
Yugi's first adevture comes when Pagesus invited to the Duelist Kingdom Tournament. There he has to battle his way to Pegasus so he can get his grandfather's soul back. Plus the souls of Kaiba and Mocuba. After getting to Pegasus and defeating him in a duel yugi and all the rest are free to go home.
After Yugi gets home he is confronted by a gril named Rebbeca. she challanges him to a duel to win her grandfather's blue eyes(the blue eyes yugi's grandfather was given). Yugi wins the Duel and him and Rebbaca become friends.
