Aldous Huxley and George Orwell are two of the most influential writers of the 20th century.

 

They did not write merely for entertainment, nor were they purely didactic.  They wrote about the times they lived in—as well as the times to come.

 

Each author’s utopia, or perhaps dystopia, serves as a warning, a warning of what could happen.

 

Perhaps you would argue that much of their vision has already happened?
