Well Saturday here at WNEC was nice so my buddy says, lets go wheelin. We come back to Pittsfield and do fine up in October Mtn and have a great time. Party saturday night and then head out again on Sunday before we go back to school. Only one problem. There was a little river that made quicksand out of the road and this is what happens. Now on saturday we powered through it but it had expanded and hit us before we were ready for it. Here goes.

Tried to pry with trees but no luck. Basically we wanted to try and get thoses 33s out of the water, which was not happening because the truck is so damn big.

Look at how buried that truck is. The bumper was plowing through the dirt it was down so far. Oh boy.

This is my friend Chris. It was his truck. Funny thing is that snow brush in his hand. Think it will help? Nah me neither

He's pissed

Believe it or not yes those are 33 inch tires.

Look at this. One of our biggest problems. This shot is from the rear but look at it. The diffy is on the ground and look at how much of the tire is sunk in the water. When we tried to pull we were basically trying to drag the truck which was basically not possible until we could jack up the truck and get the tires up a little bit.

Now this is even worse. Not only is the diffy on the ground. But the leaf springs and the control arm are all dug into the dirt. We really got this thing stuck good.

And then our help comes and gets stuck which does us not much good. I say help although with that V10 we couldnt even get the suburban to budge and after half hour of failed attempts we gave up and left.

This is that same ditch the previous day. We hit it at about 15 mph and barreled our way through it creating enough force to put the entire truck up in the air once the back wheels hit the huge lip. Look at how damaged that ice is after we went through. OH Man!

The truck sat there Sunday night while we could gather tools and then headed up Monday morning to get it out. With the help of some huge jacks and about 4 come alongs we got it out. What a day it was. Weeeee
