Overall Scores

These Colleges/Schools of Medicine were scored on a scale to 1 to 100 (1 being the lowest and 100 being the highest).  These ratings were determined by the following attributes:

•  Peer Assessment Score

º  Based on a score of 1-5 (1=marginal, 5=outstanding)

•  Residency Director Assessment Score

º  Based on a score of 1-5 (1=marginal, 5=outstanding)

•  Measure of Graduates' Achievements

º  GPA, % of grads getting top three residency choices, etc.

Overall Scores,  Acceptance Rates,  Average Undergrad GPA,  and Average MCAT Scores were determined by U.S. News and World Report.
