ISU-152 [USSR WWII] This kit is one of my favorites. It was probably my first really decent kit, and made me feel like a solid intermediate modeler. The photos don't do this kit justice. I built it up almost straight out of the box. I hollowed out the headlight and covered it with the clear lens from a doll googly-eye trimmed to shape. I also replaced the superstructure grab handles with brass wire. I painted the kit with Model Master enamels and applied a "dry wash" and weathering with pastel chalks around detail areas. I ditched the kit decals and instead hand painted the markings with artist oils. While these were drying, I accidentally blotted one side with a rag and realized it gave me a great worn paint effect, so I left it! Feedback? Let me know! E-Mail
